When we entered our room stunk like cigarettes and there was feces in our toilet. They immediately came to clean our bathroom but.... staff very nice. Needs a good remodel

Nice hotel close to the New River Gorge Bridge

Pros: Close to gorge and pretty clean
Cons: Cleaner towels and better breakfast
Location: Nice hiking trails and fun adventures to do. Only 2 descent restaurants in the area. Very few affordable gift shops
The hotel was nice and close to the New River Gorge Bridge and some of the hiking trails. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. While the towels were clean, they looked like they were stained with coffee or something. The wifi disconnected from my phone every night when I shut my phone off for whatever reason. The breakfast wasn't worth my time, but I am a healthy eater so I don't eat bagels or sausage gravy and biscuits.

Great place to stay

This is an amazing family type hotel. The location is very convenient to the rapids as well as many wonderful restaurants. Great bar and restaurant on site as well.
