Fairfield in Fenton, M

Pros: We always enjoy our stay at Fairfield Inns by Marriott since they are consistent and clean.
Cons: Some members of the staff could use some training in social attitude. The cleaning staff are friendly and kind.
Location: Fairfield Inn are centrally located to good restaurants. We arrived in the evening so did not venture around expect for dining out.
Our stay was pleasant. The room was large enough with two queen size beds, very comfy. Large screen TV and a place to plug in your laptop. Breakfast is the usual fair and filling, offering everything from bacon and eggs, waffles and cereal to fresh fruit and yogurt.

Bad room layout heater fan loud. food lousy

Bad breakfast food terrible. Room layout sucks. Feel like crammed in. No room to work at desk. Shower could not get hot water to correct temp.

Very noisy stay!!!

We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but checked out early, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling off around the edges, looks like they tried to paint over mildew, and finally, it was very loud. Apparently there was a kids soccer tournament that weekend,and the kids were running and screaming up and down the halls, at one point, they felt the need to camp out outside our door-actually they were leaning on our door-and playing,don't know where their parents were. The noise did stop when we complained to the manager, until the next morning at 7am, when the kids turned the parking lot into a soccer field. We have stayed here before, but after this noisy stay, we will no longer be guests there.

I am so very sorry to hear that the noise of the group in house caused you to shorten your stay with us. Our location across the highway to the soccer park does make us the 1st choice for most tournaments and sporting groups in our area and know that with groups of kids, of any age, noise is typically associated with them, as with any large group of people traveling together. I understand the frustration this causes and am glad that when contacting the front desk for assistance, the noise was resolved for the night. I do hope that this doesn't keep you from staying with Fairfield Inn's or Marriott in general and I do thank you for your time and for being a valued guest with us!

Our Quick Overnight Stay Was Pleasant

We wanted a clean, quiet, comfortable place to spend the night driving home from our vacation. The location of this hotel suited our schedule. Check in was easy with front desk efficient and friendly. It appeared to be a slow night and she gave us a quiet room at the end of the hall on their top floor. The next morning we ate breakfast which was the standard fare at most hotels. Fresh breads and fruit with eggs, waffles, etc. We used our GPS to find the hotel as it is a bit confusing when traveling north to south on the freeway. Ask the front desk before arriving or use your cell phone to guide you. We would definitely stay here again on our annual travels to Chicago. Price is right too!

Tried to check in about 330 but 2 of our 3 rooms not ready. No vanity in bathroom only just a sink. Some parts of the hotel were dated. Beds were too soft. Breakfast was mediocre. Hotel was clean however which I consider important for my family
