JUST INCREDIBLE !!!!Posted Jul 11, 2017
We stayed at the Palagina for 5 nights in 2 different rooms - Casa Fruiti (family style apartment) and Casa Belvedere (a private villa) and both incredible. The views from the rooms and everywhere on the grounds never gets old. It is like we are looking at a postcard! The food at the restaurant was delicious - not a bad meal. The highlights included Cacio de Pepe and beef carparcio. The house wine was great (only $15 per bottle) and a drinks were excellent (try the "wine cocktail"). The staff was very helpful with suggestions for day trips and places to eat off property.

Really away from it allPosted May 14, 2017
Must have a car! Same menu in am and pm Pools not heated couldn't swim No lunch or drinks after morning till 7 pm at night! Even though says lunch is available and has restaurants Nice views, linens. AC didn't work nor did the phone Wasn't worth the effort to get there for train from Florence and 25 euros cab ride No amenities available on site - take all you need . Bikes available. Great coffee when open, nice servers Could be fabulous but wasn't
A beautiful hotel in a stunning locationPosted May 10, 2017 on Hotels
The villa is located in a beautiful area with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. The pool area is delightful with two large swimming pools available and plenty of sun loungers. The rooms are large and really comfortable. The restaurant was beautifully furnishes. However, the menu was unimaginative and could have done with more choices. There was no option for sides at all so we literally had a plate of meat! The breakfast was very good though with a lot of different options available. A beautiful villa in a stunning location.

Great experience!Posted Jul 26, 2016 on Hotels
Great place with stunning views! Vila is amazing and something worth experiencing! We spend most of our time at the pool, just relaxing and enjoying the views! Restaurant is expensive with great service however food was lacking wow factor from the taste side, though it looked impressive! Wifi was a bit on a slow side and bed was not too comfy (at least for me).

An excellent remote hotelPosted Jul 20, 2016
Excellent stay, quiet and out of any busy city areas. Food supplies at a large supermarket (coop) are not far down the road by car, 2 good shared pools, great view. Most impressive was the restaurant which was top quality, great servers and a large good wine list. A few options for vegetarians. Would recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

Beautiful viewsPosted Apr 9, 2016
Our apartment was massive. With two bedrooms and the living room area, I was surprised how big it was. It's not your ordinary two bedroom apartment you would expect to see at a hotel/apartment in most of Europe. The food at the restaurant was amazing for dinner and great for breakfast. Lastly, the views were beautiful. This is what people picture when they think of the Tuscan area.
