Everything is average

Posted Dec 31, 2015
Pros: performace, dinner
Cons: better shower, a more helpful information centre and a better wifi
Location: the location is nice for the first night after arrive if you can not catch the ferry.
The location of hotel is 15 mins drive from everything ( airport ,downtown and port ) It will be more convenient to stay near the port. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly. We booked an beach view standard room where we can see the ocean and performance. The shower in that room is had to adjust so you have to select form very hot water or totally cold water. Wifi only works at lobby. We like the music and performance they have at evening, it is nice to have dinner there. Don't step into the ocean, you will soon find your feet covered with dirty sands. We was told that we can book almost everything from their information centre but they only have limited options. The lady at information centre told us she can not help us to book parasailing and promise us that we can go to the Denarau port anytime and play parasailing. When we arrived the Denarau port we were told it fully booked in the next 2 days. We stayed there for 2 nights everything is ok for the price we paid. But if you want to really enjoy your holiday it is worth to spend more to get better hotel.

May as well stay in cheaper hostel next door

Posted Dec 9, 2015
Pros: There are cute kittens that roam the food area-- of course if you want to eat without cats trying to climb onto your table this may not be a plus
Cons: Much improvement is needed in many areas
Location: on the beach
If you are hoping for a nice place on the beach, do NOT stay here. Although the prices are much higher than the nearby hostels (all of which are literally less than 50 yards from each other), the accommodations do not warrant it. As for the provided amenities well they appear to be not available. The "free wifi" would not load the log in page to put in the voucher code, siting that we were not on the internet. After spending 2 hours of our evening trying to log in on every device we could try-- an i-phone, a tablet, and a laptop; we asked for help. The result-- after holding my phone for 30 mins, the clerk shrugged and said keep waiting for it to load sometimes the internet is up and down. Even by the morning the wi-fi hadn't/wouldn't load. When asked about borrowing the provided kayaks, we were informed that during high tide the sharks came in so no kayaks were available but that we were welcome to swim or snorkel if we want. The room did have a nice view, but that was spoiled since all the noise from the bar area downstairs and the nearby hostels go straight into the room's window which is right above.

A disappointing stay overall

Posted Nov 25, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly.
Cons: The Wifi was spotty to,dysfunctional. A I was cut off using wifi during my last few hours. And the "get out of your room" was uncalled for,
Location: Others can answer,that.
On the positive side, the staff were very pleasant and cheerful, and the curry diinner that I ate there was delicious. My first room had a broken noisy AC, so I was switched to a back room which was ok. My biggest disappointment was this. Even though I,had accidentally paid for a third night (because of my forgetting the International Date Line), when I,was only staying two, when I requested a late checkout in my room at 3pm, the manager refused, even though there were many empty rooms, and not a single person checked in during the four hours I had to wait in the lobby before heading to the airport.

Right on the beach

Posted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: Near airport, but not any planes flying over at night. Nice part of the beach and we had a good evening after getting the ferry back
Cons: Updated bathroom, fan to main room
Stayed here after being on the islands, so we had time to get to the airport the next day. Room was average with air conditioner, fridge but no safe or fan. About three star accommodation but condition of the bathroom was below average . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Found "Smugglers Cove" nearby was a great place for dinner that night. Even though booking said transfers included, the owner indicated this was only for getting to the hotel. Two of us managed transport for $14FJD to the airport which is about 15 minutes away via taxi.

Comfortable, affordable, near airport

We stayed in a room with 2 twin beds, and while the room was rather small, it was perfectly comfortable to stay for 1 night before flying out the following day. The hotel property looked nice - pool, beachfront, restaurant, etc. The food in the restaurant was good and the prices weren't too bad. For a relatively inexpensive hotel, this was a good one! It is somewhat far from the main tourist area of Denaru, but I think that you can get there relatively easily via taxi.

An excellent place to unwind.

Posted Nov 1, 2015
Pros: The entire staff knows your name and preferences.
Location: Aquarius is off the beaten path, but very close to Nadi and daytrips are easily accessible. They have an excellent transportation system in place..
Lovely. Simply lovely. The entire staff knows your name, the place is clean, comfortable, has no pretentions, and is right on the water. I had the good fortune to spend a day at Aquarius unwinding from a very busy trip, and it was just what the Doctor ordered. I will definitely return, and get an ocean-view room for a longer stay.
