Fiji

Posted Jul 28, 2016
It felt like it was a fabricated experience of the Fijian culture. I know a lot of people may come looking for that, but it made me feel uncomfortable.

Great staff

Posted Jul 27, 2016
Pros: Everything. Size, location, staff, pool.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Great location, watersports location eg; parasailing/jetskiing was just there by the pool
Staff went out of their way to help. It was my daughters 21st birthday and they offered to put decorations in her room. Was lovely. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Great hotel on the beach

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Three pools (kids, family and adult) were nice, but adult pool had ants in the sand under the chairs. Nice beach for Denarau. Restaurants were reasonable priced.

Dear valued guest, thank you for your review. It is pleasing to note that overall you were impressed with what we have on offer. I have noted your comments with regards to the ants which i will personally follow up. Being in the tropics we do have a scheduled fumigation program to address these issues. Warmest regards, Rohit Kant, Director Rooms.

Fabulous family holiday destination

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Pros: As above
Cons: The rooms are starting to look a bit tired. Drapes, when pulled had gaps at the sides that let light in.
Location: Location is great if you loves the pools. Ocean here not really for swimming but plenty of paddle boarding, canoeing and sailing opportunities.
It was great to see so many families having heaps of fun. The pools were being used from first thing in the morning til later in the evening. The water being temperature controlled now means a July swim is more pleasurable. The staff are fantastic with the children whether it be part of the kids club or supervising the pools areas. The adults only section was quieter and well laid out. A couple of hot tubs and a lovely pool. Lots of loungers around the pool with the choice of sun or shade. Cocktails in the afternoon top it off.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff

Posted Jul 17, 2016
We stayed in a one bedroom garden view room. It was very clean and spacious. Our daughters slept on a fold out sofa bed in the lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very good with the kids. We were there at a busy time in the school holidays so the water slide and pools were busy but it was still okay, One small gripe, there seemed to be a local price and a tourist price for taking a taxi to the airport and the tourist price was twice as much. A staff member at the hotel told as the local price wasn't available to us but not sure this was actually the case.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff

We stayed for 6 nights and it was an excellent experience. If there is anything at all that they can do is to add a few more veg options in their buffet breakfast.

Awesome family resort

Posted Jul 15, 2016
Pros: Great pool and slide. Easy, comfortable and relaxed. Friendly staff
Cons: Pool side service could be a bit faster in the afternoons
Location: We went to the Big Bula Waterpark one day which the kids loved. Its a 15 minute walk from the Radisson. We also went down to the Port D shops by bus
We have just spent 7 nights at Radisson Denarau and had a great time. We have never been to Fiji before but have had lots of friends recommend it so our expectations were high. We have 2 boys aged 5 and 7 and we all had an amazing, fun and relaxing holiday. Fiji really is as good as everyone says. The Radisson is probably better for children as the pools are not particularly deep (no where is is over my head at 5'8") so they are very safe and fun for children. The slide into the kids pool is great fun and this is a great draw card as none of the other resorts in the Denarau strip had anything like it. The staff are all very professional, helpful and friendly. Our room was bigger than I expected and was comfortable. The restaurants and food was also very good and similar prices to other resorts. The Thai restaurant is great and so was Signature Blu if you want something a bit more fancy. My only constructive criticism was that sometimes the afternoon service around the pool was very slow but otherwise I cant think of anything negative to say. Our boys went to kids club a couple of times and loved it. On our final night they went to the Fire lighting ceremony and dinner while we went had dinner at Signature Blu. While there our youngest son became ill. We were horrified to find this out when we went to pick him up but the Kids Club staff were really kind and understanding. They had looked after him really well for which we were very grateful.

Everything A Family Needs

Posted Jul 11, 2016
This was our 2nd stay at the Radisson Blu & it didn't disappoint 2nd time round. The staff are wonderful & so friendly & helpful. The facilities are awesome for families. The one negative is though prices have soared since our stay 3 yrs ago so not sure we could afford to go back again. We ate elsewhere for most of our stay but still enjoyed all the facilities at the hotel.

Dear Marti, thank you for your review and again for your loyalty. It is pleasing to note that overall you had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Our prices have been impacted by the recent overall tax increase in Fiji. However we are competitively priced in comparison to other 5 star resorts in Denarau. We remain hopeful for your return. Warmest regards, Rohit Kant, Director Rooms.
