Small room....No in room fridge. Not what I am used to in a hotel room.

Great staff and location!

Pros: Great location, friendly staff and beautiful lobby.
Cons: I can not think of anything to improve on.
Location: Located near subway station, which was very convenient. We walked to the 9/11 Memorial and all the places we visited in the Financial District.
The staff, from the bellman who took our luggage straight to our room from the street, to the front desk who assisted us in everything that we had questions about, went above and beyond to make our 1st visit to NYC a pleasant experience. We did not have issues with the elevators, as mentioned in previous reviews, I guess we hit the timing just right on them. Our room was on the 44th floor and the city view was amazing! The room was not large but we expected that. My daughters, ages 20 and 14, and I shared the king size bed comfortably. The room was clean and we had no issues. There was a mention of the homeless being in the hotel, this was not a problem for us. We did see one gentleman in the lobby on Friday night, but was not bothered that he was there. I have to give a shout out to the staff that was there on Thursday at midnight when we arrived, it had been a long day of driving and we ended up having to park our rental car instead of turning it in. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nice hotel room was a little small.

I booked this rm for my wife , daughter and 4 year old granddaughter, they were pleased with the room it was just a little small.

Pros: The Staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The rooms are too small. The overall hotel appearance (i.e. hallways, staircases) could be refreshed.
Location: The location is great walking distance to great shopping, attractions and the financial district.
The experience was pretty good. The staff and location were great. The hotel could use some refreshing and the rooms are a little small.

easy to get to, nice hotel

- Easily accessed - Good coffee next door (Cafe Grumpy) - Nice room, comfy bed, ok water pressure - No security - Anyone can come up the elevators - Not too much night life - Quick walk to ferry and trade center

Nice hotel near parking ramp

#1 reason I choose this hotel was for parking. We parked at Icon Parking a block away. It’s $40 a night. Hotel staff were very nice. It was a bit confusing that check in counter is on level 2. The day of check out the elevators were busy and full. After waiting for a long time we decided to take the stairs down 30 levels. I have bad knees so I was in pain for a few days afterward. If I stay here again I would request to be in a lower level.
