Very recommendable! An excellent way to go back in time and relax in av very nice atmosphere whilst doing so. In nice weather you can enjoy the surroundings and beautiful nature, and in bad weather you can just stay indoors and take in every aspect of living in an old Norwegian mansion as they did a hundred years ago.

Best Hotel in 30yrs of travel
I’ve traveled quite a lot so this is with experience. The best hotel I’ve stayed at, the staff, the surrounding areas, the food, the bar, the history… all amazing!

Good Hotel outside city with free car parking.
This Place is out of city very quiet. Just my kinda place. Front desk staff were very kind. Breakfast was very good.

Clean. Great breakfast nice staff
Everything was great. Only problem we had was with the bikes. They are electric and heavy. We had to push them back to the hotel. And there’s no airport transportation. You need to rent a car or get a taxi around $60

Amazing staff! So sweet and helpful! We took the bikes and went swimming. We played golf. Had a delicious breakfast each morning! The only mistake we made was returning our car. You need a car to get around.

Fabulous stay in Oslo
Our stay at Losby God’s was just fantastic. Location was in a beautiful green area with gorgeous surrounding landscape. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

Nice hotel but in the Middle of nowhere.
You have to take a taxi to get to the hotel. There is no other way. About 330 kronen each way Maid did not clean the Wc the first day

Very attractive hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I think it would be great for golfers. We just spent the night and it was very nice.

A hidden gem at the end of the road.
This was an amazing find! We had missed the last ferry down to Grundhaven and were bummed out but the drive on the windy hairpin curve road paid off when we opened the door to our room and looked out to a balcony overlooking the Hardanger Fjord. It was breathtaking. Wonderful staff, wonderful food and a lovely area of creation.

Golf course accomodation on your radar
If you like country, quiet, freshness, then this accomodation on a golf course is for you Out of town so a car would be preferable, but for someone who likes space rather than cramped then good option

Luxury in Historic Hotel
This historic hotel offers a golf course and spacious rooms. We were looking for a restful, luxury hotel before we left Norway after a 2-week vacation in Scandinavia. We enjoyed this hotel.

Beautiful, well-maintained golf course resort between Oslo and airport. You must have a car! Breakfast buffet is bountiful and fresh. Excellent staff interacrions. Highly recommend!

divine place near Oslo
I know that "Gods" in Norwegian does not mean the same as in English, but in this case the name is very appropriate. Truly a divine place! Only one caveat: without a car, getting to downtown may prove difficult because the place is in the woods outside the city.

A slice of Norwegian heaven!
The first thing you will notice upon getting out of your vehicle is the stunning beauty of the surrounding countryside, and how fresh and clean the air is. If you love golf this place should be on your list. If you love a country alpine setting, this place should be on your list. And it's only 8.5 miles from the center of Oslo.

Great hotel in beautiful surroundings only 20 or so minutes drive from Oslo. Very professional and friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very nice dinner as well. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Worth every cent. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel
I stayed at this hotel during a short stay in Norway with my sister and brother in law, and we all couldn't recommend it enough! It is the kind of place that your friends and your parents would love. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You will need a rental car during your stay. In a nutshell, the service is great, the room spacious and the breakfast varied. I also recommend you visit the hotel bar during your stay and get yourself a cocktail from the lovely bar staff. One of the best cocktails I have had in a long time!

The hotel room was particularly comfortable and the meals were good especially the evening one. If you are a golfer, it would be nirvana. It took me a while to find it as the GPS coords are incorrect- a fault of the GPS. I would ask for latitude and longitude as that could save time in the end. The GPS was out by 8km.

The hotel was empty with only 4 guests. Not be able to have dinner/meal after 6:00pm. But staff was very nice and friendly. Lots if places to walk around, and totally suited for relaxation.

Loved my stay at the Losby gods. Room was high quality, heated bathroom floors, heated towel racks, etc. Service was good. The location is kind of far from the city center and we booked this hotel regardless of the distance because we had car rental. If you do not have a rental car, then do not bother renting this hotel. If you have a car, then can't beat the service/breakfast at this hotel.

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. First-class facilities and services. My wife and I arrived late at night (2110 hours - after driving all the way from Bergen) and the restaurant was about to close, but the staff put in great effort to accommodate our dinner requirement and we had a restful night after that. I underestimated the time needed to reach the hotel from the west, as it is sited to the east of Oslo (20 minutes driving) and south east of the airport (35 minutes driving). Interesting history of a manor that turned into a golf-club-hotel.

Luxury end to vacation
We decided to end our 2 week vacation here, and it was an excellent choise. Located in the countryside, but close enough to Oslo, the building itself is wonderful and we enjoyed a post dinner walk around some of the grounds. The staff were friendly, the room confortable & well appointed and we had an excellent evening meal. Highly recommended and good value for money.

Beautiful Setting Outside Oslo
This was a great end to our 2 week vacation in Norway. Losby Gods is beautiful but only convenient by car. We took trains into Oslo which after paing for parking and train far would cost nearly $30.00 a person since you really don't want to drive in Oslo. We would stay here again. Everyone was delightful.
