Rooms are small but very clean. Shared kitchen is very clean and tidy however the cooktop doesn’t work very well, takes a while even just to fry some eggs.

The property and hosts were fantastic. It had a shared kitchen which meant we could cook home made dinner for the kids. Would definitely stay there again if we were in Te Anua.

Quiet, clean and safe accommodation in walking distance to shops in Te Anau. Laundry and kitchen access, clotheslines and recycling available. Absolutely recommend staying here for your Fjordland adventures.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and an outside area with a kitchen. Thank you for the free parking, milk and laundry facilities. Enjoyed the classic car parade and the lake front. Very convenient for the Doubtful Sound and glow worm tours. Very friendly owners! Thank you!!

Great position and facilities
Lovely position - straight across the park opposite into town - 5 minutes to the information centre where the glow worm cruise and Milford Sound coach leave from. Apartment had all facilities we needed and was clean and tidy. Very comfortable stay

Quite pleasant motel. A bit dated and needs some uplift here and there, but in general - conveniently located and ok to stay for 1-2 nights while travelling in the area.

We liked the location, walking distance too most things. Good laundry facilities. However the heating was in adequate in our unit and the sauna and spa were not available.

Loud Party at hotel next door to wee hours of the morning. Nothing was done. Room was clean & bed was comfortable. Communal kitchen worked well.

Property was hot to sleep in, no fly screens to allow windows to be opened overnight. Dated bathroom as well with an old hospital style circular shower curtain. It was a last min booking so can’t complain too much. Vacinity to Main Street was excellent as was check in/out process.

Hi there. No we dont have fly screens as we dont seem to be bothered with insects at night, so leaving the windows open is not a problem. Yes we are abit behind with updating, but hopefully now covid & lockdowns are behind us we can restart this at the end of this season.Cheers,

Stayed over New Years in lovely unit. Had fireworks by the lake for New Years. Very walkable town lots of restaurants. Easy 2hr drive to Milford sound as long as u leave early before buses from Queenstown. I left at 7.30am to get a park for 11am cruise. Parking full by return at 1pm. Gets very busy. Take lunch with you as cafe expensive and busy.

Te Anau stay.
The room we were in was very spacious, with a seperate bedroom from the lounge and kitchen. Very comfortable room, small balcony with veiws over the park opposite. Well equipped kitchen for two people. Walking distance to Lake Te Anua and local shops and eateries not far away as well. Valve for money, we would stay there again.

Great location and a really well thought out layout for the family room. Only negative is thanks we hit a cold snap and the heat pump was not very effective.
