Close to many atteactions

I was booked for two rooms for one night-which was a mistake. The hotel staff were able to correct this error but it was inconvenient. I had to send them my confirmation email and they wanted me to call Expedia.

Great hotel close to Pier 39 & Ghirardelli

Pros: Cleanliness, and convenience as it was close to everything.
Cons: Price for breakfast or have a community microwave. I don't eat a huge breakfast but I understood I had to pay $15 for breakfast buffet.
Location: Super close to everything. I always felt safe. Loved being away from the hustle of Union Square, but loved that it was still accessible from there.
We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a recent girl's trip. The hotel staff were always super friendly and accommodating. The room was always very clean and more importantly the water pressure was good in the shower and the water temperature was always consisitent. (We had cold water at another hotel last year-different brand). The hotel was super close to Pier 39 and we were able to walk to the Alcatraz Boat dock, Ghirardelli Square, the Cable Cars, and there was even a stop from the Big Bus Tours right in front of the hotel. When we go back to San Francisco this will definitely be where we will stay.

great vacation hotel

The staff were incredibly helpful with our reservation changes we had to have. They were all very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is great when visiting the wharf area. Easy access to walk down to the piers but not right next to the loud streets at night to have any issues falling asleep at night. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable.

Room was nice, clean, close to all attractions

Pros: I found the hotel was always clean, Staff was very friendly - and the afternoon cookies were delicious.
Cons: Everything was great
Location: The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. It is within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf - or easy to catch the public transportation.
Great Staff, they all tended to our needs. Room was very comfortable, beds were cozy. Very close within walking distance to many attractions. Also easy to catch any city transportation from the hotel.

Great location, walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, and trolley lines. Very helpful staff, concierge.

Nice nice hotel

Attractive hotel close to Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli, and transportation. The cable cars, electric trains, and buses are within walking distance. The concierge was very helpful a number of times for recommmendations. The lobby was pleasant for hanging out with tv, drinks, and cookies in between activities. Nice breakfast options are nearby, especially at the Hollywood Cafe. A Walgreens is convenient for purchasing snacks and Muni passes.

Excellent Location

Pros: Location
Cons: Meals in the hotel were extremely expensive. Breakfast for our family of 4 was over $100.
Location: Very close to the Wharf which has access to everything - the Hop on, Hop off buses, the Cable cars, the ferries to Alcatraz with lots of places to eat
This hotel was nice. We received a great deal through Expedia, but found that the additional amenities at the hotel were pricier than some others. Overall though, great location to the Wharf, easy parking, good food, clean rooms and it was a nice stay.

San Francisco is very pricey but we enjoyed our trip. We went on the big bus, cable car. We walked to Fisherman's Wharf every day.we went shopping at Pier 39 was able to cross the Golden Gate Bridge on the big bus and we took the red and white ferry boat to Alcatraz Island, all in all time went very fast and we would recommend San Francisco to other people. We ate at the San Franciscan restaurant and The Fog Harbor Restaurant and enjoyed the seafood very immensely.

Somewhat disappointing - restaurant and room service closes early for late night arrivals. Elevators are waaay too far - balcony rooms are opposite - we had to walk in a up and around, like in a circle, to get to our room. Only 1 guest lobby bathroom - inconvenient and too far from reception and restaurant.
