Convenient Close to Pier 39

Posted Nov 21, 2017
Pros: Housekeeping service was Excellent, Decor and concierge awesome
Cons: I think the restroom could be a little bigger, space was tight for two people, but managed
Location: Fisherman's Wharf, Boudin, museum, great souveniers stores
Will definately stay again, walking distance to so many sight-seeing places. Clean, Safe and many local eats near by.

Nearby everything

Posted Nov 21, 2017
I liked the fact that this hotel is close to most attractions SF has to offer. I don’t like the parking $65 overnight? I’m paying for a room in a hotel, not my car. We parked across the street where it’s much cheaper ($36) but no “in and out” privileges.

The staff from the front desk to the concierge to the valet were really nice. However, there were not enough bell person to help with our luggage, nor were there enough valet to help with retrieve the cars. In addition, the room service person, who answers the phone, was not very friendly. Otherwise, the facility was nice because it was close to the tourist stops.

Rude staff

Posted Nov 20, 2017
No accommodating. Did ask at check in if we were celebrating an event. Did pay attention at the request made during booking. When we called to ask for extra towels, the person on the phone laughed, not sure what was funny about that.

Nice hotel in the heart of Fishermans Wharf

Posted Nov 19, 2017
Great location, only a few blocks from the Wharf. Rooms and general decor are dated, but were well-maintained and clean. No mini-fridges in the standard rooms. We absolutely loved the firepit/gathering areas just outside the front door. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I booked the pictures made it seem really nice, high end, and comfortable. When I we got there it was still nice but not like the pictures showed, everything was old but sort of remodeled. And the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. Plus the extra charge for parking your car is outrageous.

Disappointment to the name Sheraton

Posted Nov 11, 2017
Pros: Location
Location: Pier 39 walking distance.
We were there for two day break. We paid over $500 per room, per day, for an old hotel, small bathrooms, sounded like the person on the room above was walking on your head,, noise was terrible, Addition to all that, bath tub one of the rooms was blocked up, so the kids had to use our bathroom to take a shower. What a Rip off.

Great location, try to avoid the first floor!

Posted Nov 8, 2017
Pros: location is very close to the Piers and Fisherman's Wharf
We checked in to the hotel early because we had to return our rental car by noon. When I checked in, I was greeted with "kind of early" as a response. I really did not care if we had a room or not, we just need to drop off our car and take our luggage out. I was told a room was ready but it was on the 1st floor. I asked if it was loud on the first floor and the response I got was "well it is Halloween weekend." Ok, I figured I could handle a few loud late night people. Our room literally was on the street..our window faced the cable car and I felt like we were sleeping on the tracks. Our window was on the ground level and was unlocked (fortunately I checked it). I personally think the Sheraton can afford NOT to book this room..and really wish I remembered the number to warn people. I did respond immediately via Expedia after check in, and received a response from the hotel that they would be in contact but they weren't. I am sure I could have changed rooms when we returned later that night but at that point it was too late and we were mostly unpacked.

While we’re glad you were pleased with our location, we're disheartened that you were not pleased with your first floor accommodations. Our team would have happily relocated you to another room, had availability allowed. We hope to welcome you back, and leave you with a better impression. Thank you.
