Location is great. It's right on the wharf near great shopping and restaurants. Homeless shouts woke us several times throughout the night. Would not recommend roaming around at night.

Focus on the location.

Posted Jul 13, 2017
If you focus on the location, you will appreciate this hotel. Easy walk to The Warf and staff is friendly, but it needs a lot of updating and the street is noisey all through the night. Room is cramped. Essentially, it is an expensive dump. Priced due to location. Undercuts competition due to condition. However, they were painting while we were there, so maybe improvements are being made.

Good proximity to the wharf.

The room did not have a safe for valuables or a second lock on the door. Soundproofing was terrible and could hear everything. The air conditioner was noisy and didn't seem to be cooling the room down.

One block Fisherman's Wharf and other piers.

Pros: Location
Location: Subway and 7-Eleven across the street. McDonald's around the corner. We had dinner at different restaurants on Pier 39, a short walk from the hotel.
Hotel is older and has a 60's look from the exterior but rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Coffee was available in the small lobby. A little bit of noise through the walls but not bad. The location was perfect, one block from the piers and walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Free parking on the premises was a plus.

Close to Pier 39

Posted Jul 7, 2017
Walking distance to pier 39 and nice staff from maintenance to front desk staff and cleaning crew. But, the room is very small and hot... No a/c, no mini fridge or microwave. Coffee is at front desk. Street at entrance to hotel is dirty and lots of rif raf questionables walking around. For the price we paid, i would rather be farther away, in a cleaner area, and in a nicer room than stay there again.

This eclectic hotel is within walking distance to all wharf locations. Close to trolley and busses. Will defiantly return.
