ugh

Mgmt not friendly. Wood rot in bathroom. Minimum breakfast options. Pictures very misleading!

Was not worth $135/night plus taxes. No elevators.

Pros: Location. Proximity to good eats.
Cons: Where do we start: Safety, cleanliness, value, - it's not bad but certainly not in the same category as other $150/night hotels.
Not a property worth beyond $75/night, tops. Dated and old, but not in a quaint or cool way. Not the Howard Johnson brand I recall as a kid. Second level access is by weather-exposed outside stairs only. Would not suggest unless no other options.

Spend the extra money for a different hotel...

Check in was fast and easy, but when we got to our room, the sheets were dirty and had stains on them. Also, the bathroom window was rusty and the towel bar fell off the wall every time you tried to actually hang a towel off of it. There was only one outlet available in the whole room, and it was in the bathroom. The front door had trouble locking, and I'm pretty sure the windows were single pane because you could hear EVERYTHING that happened outside.

Dirty

The carpet was filty,the room was small,the bathroom was clean,however,laundry/area was dirty.

Descent

Mostly remodeled rooms. Railroad across the street. Not in a good neighborhood. Nothing fancy. If in better neighborhood I'd stay again. There is a diner right next to hotel that had pretty good dinners.

Clean but not that nice

The hotel was clean, but we unfortunately got put on the back side of it which looks nothing like the picture! Next to a dirty old tire shop, with potholes the size of a trash can lI'd in the rear hotel parking lot. The door to our room had horrible sealing around it, with even spaces where light could be seen through, making outside noises come in very clearly. And be warned there are train tracks just across the road so we had to deal with this at all hours. When we realized we had been put at the back and the conditions of our room we tried to talk to the manager to see if he could move us, but he wasn't overly friendly about saying that they were booked out. The bed was hard and not very comfortable, and the breakfast provided was pathetic! Don't be deceived by the pictures of the pool, like we were, thinking that the smaller one attached was a spas. It was not! Same cold temperature as the pool and basically a 3 foot deep kiddie pool! The hotel room was clean and we didn't experience any major problems staying there, and we had experienced much worse before so that was the only thing it really had going for it!

Train Tracks

The hotel is across the street from the freight train tracks. Kept us awake all night. Counted 14 trains during our one night stay.

Close to railroad tracks

The hotel is low average. It is sufficient for a place to rest your hwad at night but nothing great.

Good Hotel for one night

It was a good stay in that hotel. We went there for only one night on our way to Phoenix. Unfortunately in the room was it a little bit loud because the hotel is next to a rail road.

You get what you pay for

Pros: The price?
Cons: Customer service, continental breakfast was sub-par
Location: Right next to the museum club - good for Wednesday nights
Bathroom window didn't close properly and was super dirty, it was freezing cold in there, no fan either. We asked for an extra blanket twice, never got it.
