It was peaceful, clean, and had great linens, comfortable beds, good breakfasts and Rituals cosmetic products. The property needs some updating like new pillows, towels, rugs, and chairs. These items were quite worn looking. A quick fix would make this a 5 star rating.

This place was amazing, a hidden gem, and we wish we would’ve stayed more nights. We only stayed two, and had we known how great it was going to be we would’ve come sooner. It was in a quiet little neighborhood, very peaceful, the grounds are very beautiful. Svenja & Olaf were very nice and helpful and very clear with instructions for self check in since we were getting in late. The breakfast was wonderful the next morning, he cooked eggs and bacon the order, and they had many other options to choose from. Our room was very spacious and clean, we had a door that walked out to the patio. And while the patio was open to any one staying there, we ended up having it to ourselves most of the time. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in the area, and if we are ever here again, we will definitely try to get a room if it’s available.

This is a great place - highly recommend and we would be more than happy to return. We called ahead as our ferry was delayed so we knew we would arrive late - the owner couldn't have been more helpful - keys were left out for us and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived just before midnight. The room was perfect - very nicely decorated, beautiful furnishings and bedding and great touches in the room including the mini bar, shower gels etc in the bathroom and thoughtful positioning of light, switches and plug sockets. The breakfast was great too - good range of options and good service. Its ideally located for Brussels airport and a midpoint for us between the ferry and our next destination. We will be back if we are travelling in the area again as we prefer small independent places with character to bland soulless chain hotels

B&B Baron’s House Neerijse - Leuven – this eight room hidden gem bed and breakfast is in a perfect tucked away location less than 10 miles from Leuven and 15 miles from Brussels. The property is beautiful with enough parking nestle in-between hedges. Though our stay was just for 2 nights, and arrived after hours, Olaf had communicated and provided instructions for us to check in without any hassles. Olaf was welcoming and helpful and he was there in the morning to prepare breakfast eggs made to order to go along with the spread of meats, cheeses, croissants, breads and jams.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baron's and would return again. Baron's is hidden away off the main road but easy enough to find with a Sat Nav and is well sign-posted. We arrived after hours and had messaged ahead of time to get instructions for access and received a very quick response with helpful instructions. The property is beautiful and parking is very easy. Our room was clean, tidy and each day it was re-made and re-organised. Our interaction with staff was mainly with Olaf who made us breakfast most mornings for our stay except the last day - Breakfast was excellent with a good range of hot and cold options. Olaf was very friendly, helpful and made breakfast a time of the day to enjo - We never felt awkward and he made things very easy for us. Olaf and all the other staff spoke english to an excellent standard which eliminated any potential language barriers. Baron's is a premium place to stay and the facilities are up to this standard. The staff go above and beyond for guests - When we checked out, we did not want to leave. We loved staying here and would recommend to others.

The space was very clean and the staff are friendly. The check in and out process was very simple. I love the breakfast and amenities provided. I really can’t wait to come back here and invite some of my friends to join me.

The property is a bit hard to find as its off the main road and the road leading to the property is not in very good condition. Is almost like a dirt road. The property is well kept. Room is clean. As it is a old building, it does not comes with heated floor, so the floor gets chilly when temp drops. Breakfast is adequate and the property attendant is friendly and nice.

Charming, restful, and friendly
The property is lovely and the service by Olaf and Svenja is top notch. They are welcoming and helpful. It's perfect for a weekend get away or an office retreat.

This property is a real gem! The interior is renovated and very nice. The rooms are spacious by European standards and extremely comfortable. The staff was helpful and breakfast was excellent!

Nice hotel, but bad service! I won't go again.
The hotel is decent. Rooms are spacious, though mine had some spiderwebs. My main concern is the service. I stayed for 2 nights, and both nights from midnight on there was no water coming out of the tab anymore (apparently some issue with the hotel's pump). I therefore used all my water bottles from the minibar, and the hotel charged me for that. Asking them to remove it from the invoice, they answered 'I can't take it off once it's on the invoice'. That's unacceptable service for me.

we stayed here for 3 nights, Nice B&B (Marleen and Drik) not far from Brussel and Leuven, the surrounding is very beautiful, good breakfast not many option to choose. the room was not heated enough, disappointed from the cleaning lady she didnt clean the room during our stays only changed towels. overall its a good place for a change.

I had a flight out of Brussels the next morning and needed somewhere to stay for one night. The prices for all of the hotels near the airport were too high so I looked for something that was close and reasonable. This was a nice bed and breakfast with beautiful grounds. However, it wasn't that convenient to the airport and it is out of the country without many choices for meals/etc. This wasn't the best choice for a business stay before the airport. It would have been nice for a relaxing visit however.

Stay was great, and the place is historically stunning. The only thing to mention is that the walls of our room were very thin, and business folks were checking in at all hours. We were also next to what we think was a storage closet - seemed to be used at all hours.

Outstanding indeed!
Staying at the Barons B&B was a great experience, and it started before we departed. Fillip send detailed emails about the property and how to get there, and followed by instructions about checking in before the date of arrival. Breakfast was well presented every morning, fruit, fresh pastries and breads,marmalade and spreads, with the specially made to order eggs and bacon, all served with Belgian hospitality. Everything made us feel welcomed!

Great B&B away from the city noise.
The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, particularly Filip and Maika (sp?). The open kitchen and living area give this B&B a homy feeling.

Stayed here whilst working at Brussels airport. What a beautiful contrast to the hustle and bustle of the airport and its surrounding area. Fantastic rooms, setting and breakfast. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay outside the city
Baron's House was great as part of a European roadtrip. My dad and I didn't really care to stay in Brussels, so it was pretty great to not only be outside the city, but basically being staying on the edge of a nature preserve. The one caution is that the Brasserie on site is closed Monday nights, and with the construction, it became a bit of a drive to find dinner. There were a couple flights of stairs to our room, but it was worth it. Great high ceilings, clean, and a complimentary drink each from the mini bar. The wifi was free, though it worked better in the public spaces. Breakfast was great, cereals, fruits, eggs to order... Overall, it was a great stay.

Fantastic personnal and very courteous welcome, very professionnal and competent personnel, fantastic accomodation, quality breakfast. The whole building is super clean. Very convenient location of the Baron's Brasserie, the restaurant is only a few minutes away by foot. Very quiet location, exquisite surroundings.

Perfect in the Coutryside
We stayed for two nights at Barons in mid October - 2 adults and 1 child in a double room with an extra bed - and to put it short: This is one of the most comfortable stays that we ever had on our travels! The atmosphere and service is extremely nice and friendly and the standard of rooms and surroundings is in the top end among hotels. Go there if you need a quite and high quality stay - the area is perfect for outdoor activities and a Barons Brasserie close by will open shortly (2011) - arriving by car is easy and Brussels is only 20 min. away by car (outside Rush Hour).

Overnachten als een Baron
Spontaan een nachtje weg en dan kom je deze parel tegen! Overnachten in dit rijksmonument was een feestje, heerlijke super nette kamer en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Rustig gelegen aan de rand van een natuurgebied. Een aanrader!

Zeer vriendelijke en nette ontvangst met een gepersonaliseerde brief op naam met uitleg en code voor o.a. de poort. Ook een kopje koffie is inbegrepen wanneer je later op de avond terugkomt. Mooie omgeving en prachtige locatie.
