$62.19 a night & you get.. rooms that are very outdated and Strong smell of smoke. The toliet was running loudly forever unless you jiggle the handle, that was oddly hanging out. Over all, I was in town that week for work and needed good rest, Even with the little disapointments in play, I slept just fine With my own sheets and blankets of course. The beds and the bedspreads have seen better days. Plenty of fast food, and shopping close by. Nice scenic view of the river 2 miles up the street.

I would like to thank you for your feedback. However I wish that I could find who you actually are in our Guest Registry because The name that posted this isn't in our system. If there was an issue with the toilet we would've been more than happy to have taken care of the issue had we had been made aware of it. Housekeeping cannot recall any room that used their own blanket and sheets as we do wash all of our linen daily. Only way that housekeeping would not have been able to find the issue with the toilet if there was one is if they were not allowed in the room. We have started a remodel to our rooms and we have added new furniture which would've been in the room during your stay if it was in September. Do know we are taking your feedback to heart and we appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience.

You get what you pay for

Cons: Update the rooms
There wasn't anything surprising at this hotel. For the price, it was just what I expected. It was pretty clean, the breakfast was satisfactory, and the room looked a little worn out. If I needed to stay somewhere with a low budget, I'd stay there again.

Convenient to Lake Pickwick. But that's about it

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Room smelled bad, sheets weren't clean, bathroom and tub were dirty. Almost washed my hair with body lotion because there was no shampoo. One would assume that's what is laying on the tub next to the soap. NOT. Bed and pillow wasn't comfortable.

Place to Sleep, Nothing More

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: water pressure in shower
Cons: The whole hotel needs revamped and updated.
Location: Florence and Muscle Shoals has great places to eat. I recommend City Hardware.
A friend and I traveled to the Shoals/Florence area and I blind-booked my room. This was the hotel that was picked. I called the hotel staff as soon as I learned of the location and requested them to change my room to smoking preference, since I had no place on the form where I could request this online prior to booking. The lady was not very nice. She said that she had none available; that they go very fast. OK, no problem, I thought. I will just smoke outside. I arrived the next day and was surprised when I asked the lady behind the counter if she had smoking available. She said of course they did. I do not like the fact I was misinformed about this the day before. When I walked into the room, I noticed everything was very out of date. The sheets had stains, the bed was lumpy, the TV was a very old model that would not pick up a clear picture. I was afraid to touch it to try to fix the connection in fear I would be electrocuted. The breakfast consisted of one waffle machine and packaged honey buns that had expired. I ate the waffle without butter, because the didn't have any, and with a drop of syrup on it (all that was left in the bottle). I knew not to expect the Hilton, but this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The only thing I can say I liked was the strong water pressure in the shower.

Not as advertised.

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: Well either bring the rooms up to match the pictures, or show the rooms as they really are.
Location: On a very busy and noisy street.
The on-line photo showed a bright, clean, newer looking room. Room was dark old curtains dirty door handles light switches. Holes in the comforter, burn holes couch. Tub, floor old dirty. I did not stay, because it was just awful.

Door would not lock

Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Front desk was nice, nothing else though.
Cons: Needs update and cleaning.
Location: Good eats nearby.
I had a reservation for 3 nights and checked out after 1. The door jam was completely torn away and I suspect someone had been using this room for parties. The door could be opened without a card. The front desk was unaware of this problem. I think I should have received a refund but know that I won't. I still had to pay for all 3 nights. I would not have stayed the first night but it was late and I had driven 500 miles and was too tired to look for another room.
