Never stay here

Posted Aug 24, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything see comments above.
Location: There working so not focused on recreational pursuits. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
When we called the hotel we were assured that the room was an inside room. When I arrived late that evening I was told that the prior staff had misunderstood the question. I am a female traveling alone so this is a huge safety concern, I was placed in a room with several empty on both sides of my hotel room. The fuses blew in the vanity and bathroom so I showered in the dark and had to compete hair and makeup at the desk. Light bulb hanging from lighting strip could have been cause. Air conditioner was floor model and it leaked a huge puddle around the unit towards the door. We're told discount of AARP could not be given to my bill after phone conversations prior to booking where my husband was given new totals over the phone discount included. This hotel is a destination for on the road service personnel with lots of men sharing rooms. The attitude of this hotel was we have your money and can do nothing to help stated they would call the corporate office and let us know. Still waiting on their call. I cancelled my second night and will never stay in this chain in the future. Stayed at a Sleep Inn second night fantastic review on staff, room and breakfast.

Bay Mont Stay

Posted Jul 24, 2016
Pros: Close to everything food and mall
Cons: As I stated above
Location: At this time of year W.C. Handy Festival activities!
Exterior of the inn was very clean and was my room. Expect for missing towel rack in bathroom. But what I did not like the most was that the check in staff, copied my credit card and license card together, now I feel if as my identity maybe at high risk if they don't get rid of it correctly. Don't understand why this was necessary when I paid through Expedia and if I did wrong they could get my information or payment through Expedia? Feel my security at risk, Expedia and Baymont Inn. Staff was nice, thou.

Was a handicap room, no oNE was handicaped . Huge bathroom and cramped bed area. Was charged 130 for room and pet fees. Room was not very clean and noisy 2nd floor neighbors most of the night. Shower was dirty and creepy.

Well-cared for hotel, great service.

We stopped over on our way back home from vacation. For the price, we didn't expect such a clean, comfortable room with little touches (the arm chair was comfy and large, the amenities were nice, etc.). We had no bath towels and the front desk closed to bring them to us when we called, because the housekeeping had left for the night. Everything was clean, well-cared for, and exceptionally comfortable. Not much else to do in the immediate vicinity, but we were delighted, for once, to find a "bargain" hotel that didn't translate into "bare minimum."

friendly staff. Great location. Quiet. Breakfast was not that good but for the price of the room, I went out for breakfast.
