Nice hotel nice located

The Hotel has been recently updated nice new TVs new bed new linens are fresh paint could use a newer carpet fresh tile other Nat very nice place to stay did have problems with them keeping a hold on my card even though I had prepaid in a Vance and have been having trouble getting that released so if you plan on staying there plan on having a double hold for your hotel room and pray you don't need it for any emergency funds that was very disappointing not to mention that the hotel had no idea how to get the hold taken off of my credit card which should not have been placed on it to begin with error with the front desk check-in boy

We appreciate your stay with us at the hotel property. The hold you mention is by your issuing bank. Debit cards are meant to have features to protect both the guest and merchant. Credit cards don't suffer from the same issues.

I stayed in room 222. The carpet needs changing. The pool needs some tender loving care in the worst way.

This is my second time staying at the Baymont. The rooms are very clean , service is excellent and the price was right. Breakfast was fresh and on time every morning in the Guess lounge . Staff at front desk were all extremely courteous and friendly. Housekeeping was great overall I give the Baymont Inn a 10. Anytime I come to Alabama to visit family this is where I'm staying. Thank you Baymont .

Nice hotel in Florence, AL

Pros: We found nothing to dislike!
Cons: It appears they have made plenty of improvements and we were happy with everything.
Location: Good location away from downtown, but still close enough to be in downtown Florence in a couple of minutes, or into Sheffield in no time at all.
I had read the reviews and several were less than complimentary, but our stay was just fine. They were apparently going thru some renovations when the other guests stayed and they must have gotten into rooms that hadn't been finished yet. Our room, 101, was very clean, as was the bathroom. We had a very comfortable king bed, nice tv with cable, reading chair with light, desk and chair, microwave and fridge, and the room was spacious. Parking was plentiful and convenient. The location was perfect for us and in a good area of town with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. There is a Shoney's directly in front of the hotel. The property is well off the main street so it's not noisy at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady at the front desk. Check in was fast and easy. The price was very reasonable and we will be staying at Baymont again on our next visit.

Good for what we needed

Lots of contractors staying at the hotel the night we were there. Hotel is smoke free, so there were a LOT of people hanging around outside and on the balconies. The room was clean, but definitely a 2 star hotel.

The staff was fantastic! The price and location were great. The property is older and in need of a few minor repairs but the room and property were very clean. We will be staying here on our next visit to the area.

Disappointed

No stopper in sink and bugs under sink. Fecus? dried on bathroom floor. No hanger in bathroom. Stayed here several times before and just keeps going down. Probably will be last time.
