A Wonderful, charming boutique hotelPosted May 16, 2016 on Hotels
This was a most wonderful, charming boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was made and served by the staff for each individual table. Special requests were not an issue. I would definitely stay here again. One minor inconvenience, the elevator was not working and under repair and the hotel is 3 flights up.

Brilliant place to stay in the heart of Florence!Posted Apr 8, 2016 on Hotels
We had a 24hour stay and were able to get to all the sights as we were round the corner from the Duomo and a 5 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. The host was friendly and helpful and arranged an early check in and kept our luggage after check out. Breakfast was the usual continental and pleasantly served. The accommodation was rustic in style, the beds were very comfortable and the experience of this hotel was delightful. I would love to go back!

The hotel was closed to every thing. The staff and service was good. However, the room and bathroom needed upgrade.

Perfectly placed and friendlyPosted Oct 2, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is in a quiet back street yet only a few minutes walk to the Duomo and all the other wonderful places Florence has to offer. The staff are extremely helpful also. For the money it is excellent value.

Decent hotel, good locationPosted Sep 26, 2015
When I first got to the hotel the woman at the desk was very nice, but didn't speak any English so it was hard to understand what she was saying about the hotel. The room I was in was nice, the shower didn't have a door or curtain, it was just in the bathroom which I found odd. Also I didn't get clean towels everyday but I'm sure if I asked they would have provided them for me. The walls are really thin, so I could hear everything that happened but it wasn't that big of a deal for me because people were quiet by midnight and I didn't get back to my hotel till around then. The location was perfect for me, it was a couple minutes from all the cool clubs and bars. Also it's about a fifteen minute walk to the train station so that is nice as well. The staff were very helpful in helping me find a taxi to the airport even though the taxis were on strike in Florence at the time I was there. Overall it was a good experience for what I paid and if I go back to Florence I'll probably stay there again, just because it was so cheap and convenient!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel.Posted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
We checked out after our first night. It was a good location BUT There was no air conditioning. If you needed a blow dryer you had to get it from the front desk the hotel manager smoked in the hotel so we could smell smoke the whole time. Breakfast is packaged food and coffee. For a few more euro we were able to stay at a full service, air conditioned, wonderfully staffed, amazing breakfast hotel! Don't stay here. Not worth the money. The manager was good about refunding the two nights we didn't stay so that was good.

Next door to the Duomo.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Rooms were very nice and the location was great for the price.
Cons: Hotel staff could leave a list of recommended places, and have staff on duty more often.
Location: Everything that is near the Duomo is within walking distance of the hotel. Go to the Boboli gardens and Michelangelo Piazzale.
The hotel was good. The staff was not there very often, so I couldn't ask for recommendations. One day the breakfast was late, so I had to wait 40 minutes before getting breakfast. Very close and convenient to get to places. Very comfortable and roomy.
