Great location, nice hotel

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: n/a
Location: Right by the ponte vecchio and the pitti palace. Perfect.
Great location, tiny room but clean and comfortable. Didn't enjoy the way they squeezed the bathroom in, managed to get my hand stuck in it! Great price though, for the great location.

It was amazing to stay in Florence, the location was ideal for us and we appreciated all the interesting amenities nearby.

Very comforatable annex to the main hotel. Pleasant staff. Good value. Suggest using main hotel for breakfast, good buffet choice and good value compared to local establishments. Did not eat outside at the roof-top terrace (weather) but views are lovely.

Pros: Everything was great: staff, room, breakfast and location!
Cons: Nothing - Great Hotel.
Location: You can walk to everything, all site seeing. Cute walk across covered bridge with jewellery shops along both sides. Food at hotel was great!
Wonderful location, staff very friendly and helpful, room updated, clean, presented well with a wonderful shower. Hidden treasure, roof top terrace where you can order probably one of the best meals you could have in Italy at a fair price with exceptional service. Views were unbelievable. Morning breakfast room allowed for access to a lower terrace with actual bacon & egg with toast selection. Breakfast is extra but worth it. Staff bends over backwards to assist you. Don't miss this little gem and book a dinner on the upper terrace. Only 5 or 6 tables with a 7:30 or 9 p.m. sitting. You won't regret staying at this hotel or their B & B! Well worth the money!!!!

Not worth the price

Room was TINY. Had to go across the street to the nicer part of hotel to check in. Girl at desk obviously more interested in helping men and needs to purchase a larger shirt as each day we got to see her chest. Buffett was fair.

Lovely rooms & quite central

Great accomodation right at Ponte Vecchio. All the sights within walking distance as were some great restaurants & icecream shops. Only downside was check in/out & breakfast conducted in sister hotel across the road. Bit of a pain......

Full price room, broken ac.

Excellent service and kind employees. Broken air conditioning, a sleepless night, and zero compensation. If I had wanted a room with no air conditioning, I could have paid much less elsewhere.

Location and location.

It was a pleasant stay. All about this B&B is location. 2 mins walk to Ponte Vecchio, 2 mins walk to Pitti Palace, 5 mins walk to Palazzo Vecchio. Lots of restaurants, cafe and bars nearby. Worth the price we paid for. The room itself is quite small but it has everything we need. Check out panoramic rooftop restaurant and bar at Hotel La Scarletta across the street. Magnificant view.
