14 nights in Italy rarely staying in one spot more than 2 days and this hotel was the best. Room tasteful and spacious. Great location and excellent air conditioning. Bathrooms are huge as is the room itself. Great bed and linens.

Colazioni troppo costose e "ripulite"dai gruppiPosted Sep 10, 2015

Boutique hotel in great locationPosted Sep 7, 2015
We just returned from our stay at the Gallery Hotel Art. The location was ideal - an easy walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizie, restaurants, shopping and the train station. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff and concierge were helpful in making dinner reservations. breakfast is served in a room that looks and feels more like a library than a restaurant. For the price, this was a great find and we would definitely go back.

Excellent hotel close to the actionPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: -Location, location, location -Staff -Condition of room
Cons: -Could do with a toaster at breakfast
Location: -Excellent location close to all the major attractions in Florence
Arriving at the Gallery Hotel Art on a hot summers day was like arriving at an oasis of cool, calm and chic. The name says it all....Gallery Hotel Art is like a modern contemporary gallery filled with art which steps away from the stereotypical Italian hotel. Not only is the hotel cool, chic and contemporary the staff are friendly and very attentive. The hotel is also located close to all the art and history Florence has to offer.....making this hotel the ideal base for your Florence experience!

Lovely hotel in the very centre of everything!Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Definitely the location and comfort of the room.
Cons: I could say that the breakfast could be more reasonbly priced, but honestly there are so many lovely little places to go out and get it yourself!
Location: Location is excellent - right on top of the Ponte Vechio, Ufizzi, Piti Palace and not far from anything!!
This is a luxurious hotel that provides an airconditioned haven from the heat and crowds of the city. When you are refreshed you can head out again to all the major attractions which are close by.

What a fantastic hotel. The best location, right next to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence . Amazing ,contemporary , funky decorations throughout the hotel. Clean & modern . The room was very spacious & comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Love my terry robe & slippers & beautiful amenities in the bathroom ,Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries. So easy to walk everywhere from here. We were able to reach any museum, shopping, palace , sightseeing area within a few minute walk. Everyone was extremely helpful with arranging pick ups from traveling to suggestions & directions. the restaurant bar is so cool. Great sushi ,Asian menu. I loved this most beautiful city & would love to return one day. I will definitely stay here again. Loved the whole Florence experience... Being an art history major years ago & finally getting to see the magnificent art throughout Florence was a dream come true!

Unbeatable location!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: I loved the location, the ambiance and the quite tranquility from the madness outside. I also loved all the Ferragamo amenities which are amazing.
Cons: Not that there is anything that can be done about it, but tourists should know that there is no view from this hotel. But we only slept there.
Location: THe Ponte Vecchio, The Uffizi, The Palazzo Pitti, The Palazzo Vecchio and the Piazza Republica are all less than 8 minutes walk away.
The Gallery Art Hotel couldn't be situated in a better part of Florence. Everything is accessible from this spot. You are right in the middle of all the action but the hotel is a wonderful haven away from the noise and the tourists that descend on this little city. We spent two nights in a studio which was a two-level room with two bathrooms and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in all of Europe. The staff were very attentive and obliging, whether it was stopping traffic so that we could drive onto the busy riverside alley or suggesting better restaurants than on Tripadvisor or debating where the best Gelato could be found.
