Overall, the staff were friendly and the hotel was comfortable. However in the booking process there was a miscommunication. I was told that I would have the option of two beds in the room and it never happened. I called the hotel and requested two beds. When I arrived they said they had no record of it.

Clean and comfortable with a great location

Posted May 29, 2017
We stayed here for two nights. Plenty of room, nice and clean, and lots of quirky charm. And it only takes ten minutes to walk to the Duomo. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, but we were so tired after walking all over beautiful Florence that it didn't matter. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is the big advantage

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Location Breakfast room Outside terrace was excellent
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable
Location: Excellent Location to the centre of Florence and all major attractions. Also the market is an excellent place to visit and the restaurants upstairs.
The hotel is in a good location, only eight minutes walking to the centre of Florence. The man on reception in the afternoon and evening was very helpful indeed. The rooms were large and we had a room away from the road and overlooking a garden. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately because it is an old building the noise from the upstairs bedroom was really loud.

Pros: Close to every thing.
Old hotel, eleveter is only good for 1 person. Break fast is not worth spending. You can walk to every thing. For the money hotel disappointed me.

good clean and comfortable stay in a great locatio

Posted Apr 20, 2017
I would recommend this hotel we stayed in April for 5 nights .we found our room basic but comfortable and were given clean fresh towels everyday Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were helpful in every way. The terrace is just the icing on the cake with great views. location is spot on too.

STAIRS

no elevator at all during stay. main lobby on third floor. our room 31 on 3rd floor of hotel or 5th floor of building. not meant for seniors , disabled or people with suitcases. the location was good and make sure you take C1 bus from train station as it stops just a little distance from door of hotel. C1 bus will take you all around central area of florence and only costs 1.20 euros.

Cheap, tiny but close to everything

Remember you get what you pay for. My room didn't look like any of the photos online. It was tiny and needed a really good scrub. But it was walking distance to everything and there were some nice restaurants nearby.
