Cute B&B. Great location. Great restaurants. A few steps from all the main attractions. The ladies were friendly and helpful. The terrace and our room balcony were the best part.

Perfect location
Perfect location, close to the Uffizi and many restaurants. II Bargello was very clean and comfortable. Susanne went out of her way to be helpful with taxis and restaurant reservations.

Absolutely AMAZING stay, our favourite on our 3 week stay! We were greeted by Suzanne at the front desk who spoke great English which was super helpful, she offered us a map with tons of information in where to eat, what to see, and so much more. Breakfast was ready for us every morning, Suzanne went above and beyond to make us feel like we were on vacation but also, like we were at home. Comfy beds, beautiful Terrance with a table where you could enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset (highly recommend doing this with a pizza take away if you stay here) and quiet place where you didn’t hear people in the rooms next to you. Located on a little side street, near plenty of great restaurants and the Duomo. Would highly recommend booking your stay with Suzanne, at her B&B.

Place was old but clean and have a great location. The only problem was the 77 steps to go up and down every time you enter and exit the place.

Beautiful facility. Close to everything, so you can’t beat it there. Convenient and tasty breakfast-pastries and coffee and the like. Around 76 steps to get to the 4th floor, so if steps are an issue, just be aware of that. Rooftop terrace is great but our room also has a private balcony with a nice view. Great hosts and very knowledgeable.

Suzanne is amazing, so helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable. I would definitely come back to stay and will recommend to family and friends. Great area in city center, everything you need right there, and everywhere you turn is a breathtaking building, monument, church etc.

Suzanne and this B&B were warm, gracious, and so hospitable. We arrived late due to a redirected flight but clear instructions were provided for easy entry and for locating our room. The common areas are confortable and cute. Rooftop terrace with a view of the Bargello and Duomo. Room was comfortable but simple. Nice hair dryer in room. We did hear some other guests come loudly in late at night but the room itself, aside from the other guests was quiet. The room could have used more outlets. We had to unplug lamps to charge phones but many of these old buildings have similar problems. Breakfast was laid out beautifully and we enjoyed chatting with other guests over breakfast. Suzanne also provided wonderfully helpful advice for our quick day in Florence. We were so appreciative. They also held our luggage after check out for us while we toured the city. 16-20min walk to the train station with luggage. Not bad. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

My favorite place to stay when visiting Florence. Location is excellent (right next to the Bargello National Museum). Gabriella and Suzanne are wonderful hosts. Their rooftop terrace is the perfect place to enjoy wine and cheese. I can’t wait to go back.

Suzanne and Gabriella were great. They were accommodating when our travel delays caused us to arrive late. Their late check-in process was easy. Our room was great with our own private terrace, but they also have a picturesque rooftop terrace available to all the guests. We appreciate how stocked the kitchen is with multiple options for breakfast. This was a return visit for us to il Bargello and we will keep it on our "preferred locations" list for whenever we pass through Florence.

A beautifully renovated property. Nice room, large bath, nice little private veranda. View from top veranda, very nice. The challenge for some is hauling your luggage up three flights of stairs- 78 stairs to climb. Nice location.

I’m warning you… don’t come to this property. The smell, the vibe, the old blankets. This is not about “Florence Style” this is a turn off place to be in a beautiful place like Florence. Don’t be cheap like I was. Pay a little extra. Trust me on this one. At the day of the check in I saw this place and I became depressed. It was embarrassing to take my wife to this place. When I get to this cold and depressing building I started looking for real hotel. At least If you try a AIRBNB you can have an entire apartment to yourself and be comfortable. THIS IS an UNCOMFORTABLE place. I paid 50 dollars more and I went to a 4 star hotel 1 min from the Duome. Do this is instead and enjoy Florence like a you should. Best of luck and I hope this help you in you lovely vacations.

Excellent experience. Friendly bilingual operators. Good airconditioning that stays on all night. Very clean. Pleasant breakfast in common kitchen and living room area. Third floor, no elevator - common situation in Florence. Rooftop patio with great view. FIve minutes walk from Duomo. Recommended.

Clean, comfortable bed and breakfast in the heart of Florence. Rooftop terrace is wonderful. A/C in the room a huge plus in the summer heat. Note there are several floors of stairs you must use to get to the top (no elevator).

Property was conveniently located to many areas that are of interest. It is walk-able from the train station. Can be difficult to find due to Google maps having its location wrong. Staff was very helpful in getting us there. We were there for a very short time but were comfortable and well taken care of, breakfast was ready for us early as we had to leave prior to normal time. Climbing 3 flights of stairs with luggage not for everyone, but would return. Dan & Julie

This a charming B&B, with a wonderful hostess and staff. The room was clean and inviting, the breakfast was very good (Suzanne makes, as she said, a mean cup of cappuccino!), and we were within walking distance of all the major attractions. It was really a great place to stay for our 3 days in the beautiful city of Florence. There is no lift, so for those who would have trouble climbing stairs, it is something to keep in mind. We took it as extra exercise so we could enjoy more of the wonderful food in Italy!

Great staff, prime location. We would return. Anything you need or want is here. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The sightseeing suggestions and directions were so helpful. There are a lot of stairs to the entrance. But we were glad for them since we ate a lot of gelato!

We had a marvelous experience at this hotel. Susan and Gabrielle were fantastic with help, smiles, accommodations and always friendly. The hotel room we were in needed a plug in dedicated to charge phones , my towel hooks in bathroom. A fantastic hotel that deserves a return visit.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while in Florence. Suzanne was a wonderful host. She gave us suggestions for a couple of restaurants that were great. The breakfast each morning was delicious; fresh made cake, fruits, yogurt and cappuccino. We were well fed and ready for a day of walking after that. Definitely worth the walk from the street to our room, which was clean, neat and very quiet. Be sure to buy a bottle of wine during your daily travels; it was such s wonderful way to end the day up on the rooftop terrace enjoying some delicious Italian wine enjoying the nighttime sights. We would definitely stay here again

Loved its indi and personal feel. It’s so close to the centre and the owners encourage you to feel like it’s a home from home. The pictured roof top terrace is a haven. Some people might find the stairs up to the b&b difficult but I loved it.

Great choice!
Except that i had to carry 3 of my 25kg luggages all the way up to the third story because there is no elevator, everything was just great. No complaints at all. The location is great, breakfast is all you expect, clean and the host is just fabulous!
