Very pleasant location,

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: The staff
Cons: Re-paper our bedroom walls
Location: Easy 15 minutes walk to the Bus and Train station and even less than that to the promenade along River Arno.
Very pleasant quiet location, convenient to the centre of the city on foot, helpful & very courteous staff, excellent breakfast provided each morning with plenty of choice. Room service excellent too and room nicely clean - notwithstanding very tired wall paper.

Convenient and clean hotel

Posted Oct 3, 2016 on Hotels
The location of the hotel was quite convenient for visiting various tourist attractions either on foot or by taxi. It also has several restaurants of different cuisine in the vicinity. Though there was no hot water kettle in the room, the hotel would provide hot water on request at any time. Service and spread at breakfast was quite good.

Hotel was beautiful and very easily accessible from all major florentine sites. Lovely restaurants right around the corner and not too noisy. The room was spacious which was a plus. Unfortunately the free breakfast was pretty dreadful and the wifi was barely crawling. The elevator was claustrophobic but good excuse to walk the stairs after some gelato.

Cons: The shabby paint
Location: Long walk to most resturants about 20mins but one I recomend is Fishing Lab found it on trip adviser we walked there and got cab back for €11
Hotel clean and comfy ,good beds and bedding ,the seating area downstairs is very nice but shabby and unloved could be much nicer, breakfast is fantastic with everything you could want

Average hotel with limited facilities

Posted Aug 17, 2016
Pros: The staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Overall disappointed with the lack of facilities and the rooms. The hotel could do with a complete makeover. It's a good but pleasant 10 minute walk to the town where there are some good restaurants. Biggest problem is that the hotel does not have its own parking. It's either parking in an unsecured public car park (5 minute walk) or pay an independent firm to collect your car and park it at their garage some 3 kilometres from the hotel. This costs 27 euros per night plus a one off 5 euro transfer charge.

Great hotel with friendly staff

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Best things about this hotel were its friendly staff, clean room and spot on air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was also very nice. It is a bit of a walk from main Florence attractions - good 25 mins to Duomo etc. But close to train station and Santa Maria Novella - 15 min walk. There is an amazing gelateria nearby on the riverbank. Would recommend - we had a great stay here.
