Our Florence Wedding tripPosted Sep 27, 2015
Great location. Really helpful and friendly staff. They really were excellent. Public areas are stunning, and the roof terrace was a real bonus. We loved spending time there, and the service was first class. We were however disappointed in our suite, as it seemed really quite tired. The sofas especially and other soft furnishings really let the rooms down. We had other family members staying in another suite, which was stunning. That simply highlighted the lack of luxury in ours. I would go back, but not if that was the only suite available...sorry.

Fabulous grand hotel full of antiques - the wonders of Florence follow you from the sites to your room enhancing the whole experience. You truly feel like you are the house guest of a rich Florentine aristocrat. The suites are huge and the hotel is extremely well situated, only 200 yards from the Arno and the best gelato shop in Italy. The staff and roof top terrace were the absolute highlight of our stay.

Comfortable and historic small hotel.Posted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: The ambience and the roof terrace view
Cons: Couldn't find fault. My mother has some mobility difficulties but coped with the 2 sets of 3 steps on the ground floor with her stick
Location: Just south of the Arno in a one way street. Plenty of good restaurants. Close to Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens. Short taxi ride to the central area.
Stayed 17th to 24th August 2015 - had two suites on the second floor. Interesting old Palazzo with many original features in a quiet street south of the Arno. Very comfortable and clean. Rooms are vast and air conditioning was working. Well appointed bathrooms.

Spoilt us for any other hotel we ever stay inPosted Sep 8, 2015
Location: The location was ideal with all the local historic attractions, shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance
The hotel was as beautiful and luxurious as we expected. the staff were polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The rooms were way above our expectations and the little touches of chocolates on the bed and a bottle of water each night. Complimentary fruit and cakes each day between 3 and 5 pm. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city. You need to experience this for yourself

Lovely hotel in fantastic positionPosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Position. Roof terrace. Service
Location: Great for exploring the city
We stayed in this hotel for three days of our honeymoon. This is a lovely, well placed hotel with a personal service and great rooms. The roof terrace is a particular bonus in such a beautify city.

Beautiful stay at Palazzo Magnani FerroniPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Location quiet but everything within 5 minutes walk. Very personal touches, great, family run hotel.
Cons: It was pretty perfect.
Location: All the attraction of Florence on your doorstep.
The suite was vast, so unusual for a hotel these days. Lovely touches such as fragranced bathing soap to choose from, local wine in suite. The staff were wonderful and took great care of us. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a sumptuous, relaxing small hotel in Florence. Very close to all attractions although over the river, was not a problem at all. The area was stylish with beautiful antique shops. Roof terrace with stunning views over Florence where we enjoyed Prossecco and crudités fit for a king.

Fantastic hotel with load of charming features.Posted Jul 8, 2015
Cons: Nothing, as far as I am concerened it was perfect. The only thing that would make in more perfect would be a swimming pool.
Location: Central to everything we wished to visit in the city.
We had a 3 night stay in this wonderful hotel. It had all the charm of the old Florence buildings. We had 2 rooms on the top floor, when we were shown our rooms we gasp with surprise on the size, they were huge. The location was perfect for exploring Florence, we were able to walk to all of the cities attractions from the hotel.

Tolles StadtpalaisPosted May 19, 2015
Hochzeitstag.
