Kort gåafstand til midt byen. God morgenmad, hyggelige borde, hvor man både kan sidde ude og inde. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale.

Hübsches Hotel in Stadtnähe

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Kleines, nettes Hotel in Stadtnähe.

Fantastic hotel. Top-rated with friendly staff.

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Everything - but particularly the friendly staff
Cons: From my own experience, I cannot think of anything that needs to be done to improve this hotel.
Location: It is on a bus route if required but the walk to the main centre (the Duomo etc.) only takes 15 minutes or so.
From the minute you walk through the door you are greeted with great first impressions. Friendly, efficient and helpful reception staff. My room was excellent and everything I had asked for. It was spacious and ultra-clean and, backing onto the garden, very quiet. The included breakfast suited all tastes and, again, the staff were very friendly and personable - this was particularly important to me as a solo traveller. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing a pleasant stay in Florence. There is personal in-room climate control, a pillow menu for your own particular choice of pillow, and even a pair of slippers for you to use!

Great hotel w/in walking distance of Firenze

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Front Desk agent were incredibly warm and helpful with restaurant, calling pharmacy, calling taxis, offfering advice for train travel which is tricky!
Cons: I believe that replacing the beds would make this hotel first rate. The jacuzzi bath tub cum shower was nice but had dirt in mold in spots!
Location: The hotel was near several of the best restaurants incl. Perseus, a super nice pharmacy and within the walking distance of Accademia and Duom
Palace San Gallo is a charming hotel located within walking distance of Firenze tourist attractions such as the Accademia and Duomo. My two teenagers and I liked being in a resedential area, away from the maddening crowds. We enjoyed eating at neighborby Perseus, a great steak house which is considered one of the best in Firenze. The hotel lobby and our room itself was spacious and elegantly appointed. Breakfast was included; the staff was friendly. We had a meal in the bar one night which was heated up but enjoyable. My one recommendation for the hotel consider upgrading the bedding which was adequate but not memorable!

San Gallo Palace Hotel, Florence

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: This is a small, clean and friendly hotel, close to Florence centre. We found staff to be very polite and helpful.
Cons: Because it was a hotel, would expect evening meals offered in bar restaurant to be fresh and not frozen. This could be improved.
Location: This hotel was situated in a quieter part of Florence but still close enough to walk to city centre, which took us about 15 minutes.
Florence is a beautiful city to visit and quite culturally diverse. We were able to visit many museums and art galleries which were quite close together. We visited in August and found everywhere to be quite busy especially the famous Uffizi gallery and the Academia Gallery where we saw the magnificent David statue by Michelango. Transport links such as local buses were good and we were able to visit Rome for a day using the high speed train.

Quiet rooms surrounding a garden yard.

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: The staff proved the most helpful source of information.
Location: It is at the Piazza della Liberrta, enclosed by a colonnade of little service spots.
Nice modern room, and generous breakfast. Nearby are café bars, restaurants, supermarket, Laundromat and post office. San Lorenzo, Galleria dell'Accademia and the Duomo are close enough, but the Santa Maria Novella and Ponte Vecchio areas are quite far.
