Soggiorno Bartolini

Posted Apr 8, 2012 on Hotels
I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It had 6 rooms and was ok for a budget traveller. The room wasn't ready when we arrived but the nice boy at the reception said his sorries and that he was there alone that day. He promised the room clean in twenty minutes but it took 1,5 hours. He was wery fluent in english, the other staff not so much. The upstairs room was wery high and spacious. Room was clean but the towels could have been cleaner. The shower in the bathroom had no walls or curtain and the bathroom was soaked every time someone used the shower, not nice. We had an unpleasant disturbance the first night when someone came knocking the downstairs main door and shouting something. First we thought it was someone trying to trick the residents (the reception closes about 8pm and there is no staff in the hotel) but after a while someone realised they were new residents trying to come and check in. REMEMBER TO INFORM the hotel of your ARRIVAL TIME. Buses number 29, 30 and 35 from the train station go right next to the hotel and the travel time is 10-20 minutes depending on the time of the day. There are a couple of cafes/bars next to the hotel where you can eat breakfast (coffee, croissant and panini about 4€). Supermarket is also near. Altogether the hotel and stay was ok.
