Riverfront vacation home with kitchen and balcony

Lake house in a perfect location on Wheeler lake in Rogersville, Al. 4 bedroom, 3 bath large living areas, and exterior wood decks to hangout and relax. There is a charcoal grill and smoker on site. Also a 2 boat slip boathouse, nestled inside Thornton slew. One mile from the house is a free public boat ramp. This place has world class Bass fishing, and Cat fishing. Wheeler Lake is an amazing lake for recreation. With Joe Wheeler and Lucy’s Barge and marina a short boat ride away. Rogersville is a great location a short drive between Florence and Huntsville, Al. This lake house is Newley remodeled. All new furniture and mattresses. There are two kayaks on site also.

We had a family Christmas here, they even put up a Christmas tree for us.
We had a family met here that live in Alabama, Florida & Indiana. Right On the water, we were able to use the family boat right from the dock. The kayak and canoe was a big hit.

Weekend getaway, house overpriced
The house was overpriced. Needs a good deep cleaning ( inside and out). Beds are way too soft for my liking. Living room was very small considering the # of people tnis house sleeps. There were issues with mice. There were not enough pots, pans, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, utensils, in the kitchen. On arrival I found there was no tea pitcher so the owner brought one over, along with mice traps It was easy to get in touch with the owner. My family liked the kayak and canoe.

Great property great views!
My family and I rented the property to take my husband fishing for his 60th birthday. We had an amazing time! Having a bedroom on the first floor was perfect for my 82 year old Father-in-Law. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family. We loved using the fire pit area. But mostly we loved the porch with the great views and being able to fish off the private boat slip when they didn’t want to drive to the boat ramp. The water was already being drawn down for the winter so we could not use the boat slip but we knew that was probably going to be the case. We loved the time we spent here and are already planning on a return trip.
