Not the best area of Florence

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: The reception staff are very helpful
Cons: Lick of paint indoors
Location: Seems to be more of a residential area 15 min walk to centre which is not a problem, some nice eating places nearby
Reception and breakfast staff make this hotel. The hotel rooms and corridors are looking a little tired and the area is not one of the best places to stay while in Florence.

Off-location and super authentic Florence hotel

Posted Apr 18, 2016
The location is a bit secluded and hard to find the sign is pretty small but once you walk into the grounds they are immaculate. Easy walk to everything, and plenty of authentic eateries within a few blocks of the location. Parking was 20 Euro per day despite the notification on expedia ther there is free parking.

OK hotel with small rooms outside of the city

Posted Sep 25, 2015
Pros: Price @ the time I booked. Other than that everything else is pretty standard..
Cons: Rooms are really small to the point that you don't have space to move if you open your luggage. Bathrooms are kind of weird..
Location: Not much.. it is out of the city so be ready to walk 20 minutes to the center of the city...some restaurants are within walking distance...
Hotel staff is friendly... check in was quick... Regular rooms are small!! they are ok for a 1 or 2 night stay.. other than that I would def. recommend getting an upgrade or looking at other options...

Dear Guest, I would like to thank you for leaving your precious comment on UNA Hotel Vittoria. I'm glad to hear that you appreciated the professionality of our staff. UNA Hotel Vittoria is planned to amaze guests with its modern design. The bathrooms have purple or black and white Bisazza Mosaics and some have a shower transparent glass. We regret you didn't appreciate the style of our hotel. The hotel is located in the historical quarter of San Frediano, adjacent the hotel is also available the public Bus n. 6, who takes you directly to the Santa Maria Novella Railway Station and to the city-centre. Who instead love to walk surrounded by florentine ancient buildings, walking through the historical San Frediano area, or along the Arno River, you arrives to Gold Bridge more and less 20 minutes. Wishes to have you again our Guest, I send you my best regards. Maurizio Lavetti General Manager

Great hotel but not so great location

Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: The rooms were great! Loved the LED lighting surrounding the bed walls!
Cons: Unfortunately you can't exactly the location. Maybe offering free transfers to the city centre or more bicycles avaliable to rent for guests.
Location: Location was far from the city centre and not really many reastaurants around the area.
UNA Vittoria was a great hotel with amazing rooms, clean, spacious bathrooms. Only down point was the location. It was quite a distance away from the city centre and a 15-25 min brisk walk depending on the weather, we struggled with this as it was very hot weather in Florence at the time. Only one bus into the city which came regulary but not often enough. Pity as the hotel itself really was very nice and comfortable, just a bit too far away from eveyrthing if you don't have your own car/transport. The hotel apparently had bicycles for hire but they were booked out during our whole stay which didn't help.

Modern boutique hotel just outside the city

Posted Aug 24, 2015
UNA Hotel Vittoria is a modern, well-design hotel just outside the city. The rooms are small but well-designed, featuring rain showers and atmospheric design features, including blue LEDs on the walls and ceiling that light up like stars. The hotel also features a solid bar and restaurant. Location-wise, the hotel is right next to several local bus lines that go into town and to Piazzale Michelangelo. The walk into town is about 20 minutes, which for us was tolerable, but, in the summer heat, probably a tiny bit longer than we would have liked. Staff were helpful and attentive.

Young gem in Florence

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything. Great value for a unique and enjoyable experience.
Cons: Just a bit more warmth from the front desk staff.
Location: See above.
A pleasantly surprising experience! Family of 6 in 3 rooms - all six enjoyed this hotel tremendously. Interior design of lobby, restaurant, and room is unique, modern, functional, and interesting. Has its own parking garage (or parking in courtyard). Staff is, in general, very helpful and pleasant, with only a hint of grumpiness or snootiness. Well-located - a 15 minute walk to Pont Vecchio, and 20 minutes or so to Plaza Republica (we all enjoyed the walk along the river into the central part of Florence). If you're driving, call first for the "real" GPS address. Francesco, one of the managers, is particularly passionate about the hotel and very inviting.

Best hotel so far!

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Great hotel, great staff, great experience! Hotel is newer and has very cool rooms. Upgrade your room if you can...much larger with great lighting system, cheaper parking, and free minibar. Even the room doors were cool with different Italian pictures. Bartender was fantastic!! Definitely recommend.
