Pack a teaspoon..

Posted Feb 26, 2017
FYI .. there are No teaspoons in the building... seriously. The advertised pool photos are taken at special angles; it is not as glamorous as made out.. the "infinity pool" is actually small.. there is a large glass walled disabled lift... there are ocean glimpses. From my room I had a great view of the concrete in the adjacent car park, a metal silo and a sad housing building that resembled a Correctional Facility. (Photo attached). The hotel felt like it was once used for conventions; it is situated away from the beach.

No guests allowed in your room. Limited wifi.

Posted Feb 22, 2017
They don't tell you when you book online or at check in that No guests are allowed in your room; you will need to read 'the fine print' on the literature left inside your room. A burly security man guards the access to the guest elavators. There is no wifi available other than inside your room; very inconvenient whist waiting in the lobby... especially when you need to book a uber. The towels are stored awkwardly on the narrow ledge under the glass in the bathroom. The "business centre" consists of 2 computers on the mezzanine. Good luck with getting your documents printed by the staff at the front desk vis email.

LOCATION that´s it!

Posted May 8, 2016
Pros: Location, clean, good breakfast
Cons: Staff training - specially at Reception
Arrival: we had to take suitcases out of the car and carry them ourselves - with 3 doormen looking at us Check in: reception did not know if room was prepaid OR NOT...."We will come back to you" which they never did! Attitude not welcoming... They did change us from original room - upgrade Aircon: Technician will come and assist you on the thermostat - NEVER CAME! Audio on Television - IMPOSSIBLE to set on ORIGINAL language...Had to hear: "Guests complain about this" (??)...but no solution was given AND no return either Check out - Still no position on payment...and when I mentioned NO RETURN on issue - eyes were rolled! NOT friendly and professional Departure and talking car: Excellent! Bags were taken to the car, which was waiting for us, placed in the trunk in a very pleasant and efficient way

Some inconveniences with the room

Posted Apr 26, 2016
Pros: Location and Breakfast.
Cons: Beverage menu in room and at the least, adapters to convert connectors to 110W.
Location: The best shopping mall is just at the side of the hotel, and there's also a lot of good restaurants nearby.
Overall experience was OK, but they don't have beverages menu in the room, and all of the connectors are 220W, and they don't have any adapters to convert to 110W.

Good - with a little cosmetic work could be great!

Posted Mar 28, 2016 on Hotels
Ok so it's not a 5 star but the location and spectacular views more than make up for the slight 'tired round the edges' appearance. I think they're missing a trick; spending a little on cosmetic upgrades and they'd be a very smart hotel. The view from the pool is incredible. Unfortunately the pool and pool area looks bigger in the photos so I imagine in busy periods many guests would be unable to enjoy the space. Breakfast is buffet-style but has a huge range and is good quality. The restaurant is air-conditioned but once you step out into the hallway there is none. Even the elevators have a/c but are not switched on. This kind of 'cost-cutting' takes the edge off an otherwise great stay. Notwithstanding my criticisms I would definitely stay there again.
