Stay here and dive here!Posted Oct 2, 2015
Welcoming from the beginning. Front desk staff were great and answered all our questions. Dive staff were excellent Captain Mike, Steve and Captain Ken were super knowledge and had the skills and experience we look for when we go out. There are really good deals on dives. There is a hut with 2 lounge chairs, right on the water, that quickly became our favorite sunset spot. The bed and room were a little dated, but good for how much we paid. There are 2 grocery stores within minutes so we were able to cook and keep food in a full sized apartment kitchen. This place is incredible. We will be back!

Cute hotel with fun activities.Posted Sep 29, 2015
We booked Amy Slate's in a hurry after a clerical error left us without hotel for our Key Largo weekend. We loved this cute cosy hotel. Rooms are big and equipped with microwave, coffee maker, TV and fridge. Great AC which you will need as temperatures and humidity were high. Small but nice pool and beautiful views of the bay. We took a 4-hour snorkelling tour and I saw sharks, rays and loads of fish in the coral reef. Staff both at the hotel and the boat were fantastic. There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance and you'll get discount cards for most of them. Would def go back.

Loved it! Had a wonderful time. Trip to the reefs were awesome and the crew on the boat were great.

Kurzer AufenthaltPosted Aug 25, 2015

Excellent view at a reasonable price!Posted Aug 17, 2015
We had only 1 1/2 days to see the Keys and the hotel was a great place to stay. An added bonus was their dive boat right there which allowed us time to do some snorkeling. The hotel is older but provided all we needed for an enjoyable stay. And their prices were very reasonable!

Cute hotel with its own little beach and poolPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Location, beach, pool, sunset views.
I was trying to find a reasonably priced hotel in the upper Keys with its own beach. This hotel was perfect for us. The kids (7&5) loved the beach and the pool! The bay water was so warm, it was great. We snorkeled off the beach and saw some fishes. The room wasn't luxury but I didn't expect that either. It had everything we needed. Sunsets were gorgeous!

We were pleasantly surprised at the overall beauty of the resort and amenities, however our room lacked a chair to sit in. Will definitely go back to the resort.

DisappointedPosted Jul 8, 2015 on Hotels
Smoking is forbidden except in a certain smoking zone, however, the policy is not well-enforced. Lots of smoke to walk through. The rooms are okay - not worth the price we paid. Bring your own coffee.
