Very convenient to Duval St. yet far enough away to be very peaceful. Pool and FREE parking a huge asset.

Excellent B&B in great location

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Pros: Modern comforts in an historical building. Pool. Walkability.
Cons: They have more rooms than parking spaces.
Location: Restaurants. Duval Street.
The staff were great. The room was quiet and well furnished. All was clean and welcoming. We finally got a free "continental breakfast" that deserved the name: several varieties of cut fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, granola, orange juice, coffee, jam (not jelly), etc, etc.

acceptable but pricey

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Good location and the hotel front desk personnel were generally friendly. We stayed 3 nights in February. The room was extremely small with no closet space to store luggage. The days we stayed were very warm so we needed A/C and the ceiling fan to stay comfortable at night. The fan had an annoying clanging which the staff did not or could not fix. Housekeeping did not replenish the tiny bar of soap or shampoo which was annoying since we paid $350/night. The included continental breakfast was nothing special.

Hi Paul, Thank you for you constructive comments. We apologize we were unable to address the fan issue that you had while staying with us. It has been extremely hot down here this year with added humidity and that takes a while to acclimate. We have added a few new breakfast items and are re-vamping our breakfast in general. We hope that you will come back and visit us so that we can make sure your next stay here in Key West is flawless. Once again, thank you for your comments. We appreciate all feedback so that we can make changes for the better for all guests.

Historic Bed and Breakfast

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Absolutely perfect! First time in Key West. The B&B was clean and smelled fresh even though the house was built around 1903. We loved the charm and look of the whole place. Breakfast was fresh fruit, a variety of breads, bagels, juice , coffee and cereal. It was a delicious way to start the morning. Room was clean and cool because of the airconditioner. Bed was comforable and pillows were clean and soft. I am SO glad we stayed at Azul Key West! We had the front balcony to ourselves because of the room we stayed in. The traffic wasnt too loud because it is on Truman Ave. Staff was friendly. They gave us a map, called a taxi for us and had ideas for different places to visit. They also gave us coupons for the local sights. When we go back, we are definitely staying here!

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived at noontime for a 3:00 o'clock wedding and the room was ready for an early check-in. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Highly Recomend

Cons: The only draw back, parking is limited. There are 7 parking spots and 11 units. Plan on parking your car and leaving it there, there is no reason to
This place is very quaint and quiet. It is conveniently located and a walking distance to most of the places in Key West you want to go, our room was off on it's own next to the pool. It was clean, cozy, nice and comfortable. The continental breakfast was fresh fruit, pastries and boiled eggs. This is a historic building that is incredibly well maintained. The service was excellent and we will definitely go back the next time we are in Key West
