Room wasn’t ready at 330 and they said they’d text us…2 hours later we returned and said we never got a text or call. It was ready but no communication. Water was not available for a couple hours after check in and air conditioning was broken the entire overnight. Waited quite a while to speak with management. He said he would refund our first night/or give us our points. Room wasn’t exactly clean as someone else’s hair was in the bathroom corner. We were asked if we wanted daily room cleaning during our stay and we said yes, although the first day we had to ask for our room to be serviced and the next day we were gone and came home in the evening to in made bed and no fresh towels. Third day, we had to ask again. Towels were rough, mold on tile floor, shower gel ran out before our stay ended and we were only provided with one small face soap bar. Just not the in-room luxury you would expect at these prices. Very disappointing to say the least..especially as Hilton members

Vince, Ali, Pablo were so awesome when you first get to the facility. Then things start to unravel. The front desk is not very organized and not very good at communication. The room was small and was touted to be a suite. The floor was gritty was sand and ants all over the place. Bea and Micky at the lobby bar were fantastic. They said that they had service on the beach, but we never saw anybody come through any drink orders The beach bar which they said was going to be ready Thursday was not. in construction all over the place. It could be a wonderful place with the right adjustments

Did not feel five star. Beach service female was very slow and nonchalant. They will keep you waiting until 4pm for check in unless you keep asking. 10 people were roomed by asking. So I then asked and finally got a room. Lots of construction going on, broken elevators, sea weed on beach...they should close for about another month then reopen once done.

Construction is still going on so when you’re dining or sitting at the pool you are hearing all the construction noises. We stayed in the West wing which had not been updated yet; the elevator to the fourth floor rarely worked and the room itself needed updating. While the bathroom had been newly renovated, the cleanliness of it, especially the shower, left a lot to be desired. Twice the fire alarms went off which was jarring and definitely interfered with Island relaxation vibes; both times the alarms continue to go off and access five minutes. When we checked in, they were experiencing problems with their computer system and could not process our credit card for the room, so rather than telling us to just take care of it later, we stood there for about 25 minutes until I asked if we could go to our rooms and take care of it later. The resort itself has potential to be beautiful, the dining option was good but $24 for avocado toast is ridiculous. They charged us to upgrade the room and with all the inconveniences from the outdated and dingy room to the fire alarms I wish I had not paid over $300 to upgrade because it was not worth it.

I like its historical background, style and large private beach. Two pools. It's location a bit south of downtown makes for a quiet neighborhood.... ... but also makes it a bit of a walk to downtown. But there are plenty of transportation options (bus, bike, scooter, golf cart, etc). My only real complaint is there weren't many trash cans in the room! Only one small one in the bath. Had to use alternative options to get rid of trash.

The room was fine, didn't have a balcony as described. We requested another cleaning before we unpacked because there were hairs on the floor and the vents were clogged with dust. The property is still under major renovation which we were ok with as it only limited views, created dust and noise. We will give it another try next time when the work is completed. The staff was very friendly. They need more dining options.

I hesitated to book Casa Marina based on some iffy reviews, but took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did. We found the hotel to be truly stunning. While there's an ongoing renovation for a new beachside restaurant, it wasn't a disturbance during our stay – the construction area is well-contained and doesn't detract from the hotel's beauty. We were there over the holidays, so there wasn't a lot of construction work happening; however, on our last day, the construction workers were busy at work, and we still did not find the construction bothersome. Our family of five (three teenagers) booked a suite. The rooms are clean and stylish with a tropical beachy vibe. I love the exposed beams and the checkered board tile floor. The beds are incredibly comfortable (on the softer side). I actually told my husband that I’d like to look up the mattress type. The staff's hospitality has been consistently efficient, kind, and accommodating. The beach and pool are both lovely. They have two pools; one is for adults only. My daughter and I had a great time collecting shells in the soft white sand. Despite having rented a car, we have found it unnecessary to use it, considering the hassle of parking in town. Instead, we have been Ubering or walking. I look forward to returning to Casa Marina someday and enjoying the new restaurant. It's a gorgeous and peaceful property, and I'm so glad we booked it.

Palmetto bugs in room. Flooded bathroom from leaky ceiling in one room, TV didn’t work in one room. Buffet was $43 . Ate in restaurant that had too few waiters/cooks. Took an hour. Didn’t get refunds. Would definitely say don’t go there!

The property was pretty. Bathrooms were new. The elevators looked like they had never been cleaned inside. Food was very basic. I had to call multiple times to get things such as towels and multiple for a maintenance issue. Doormen are very helpful. So many fans on in the lobby in December made it unbearable to sit there.

The property is very poorly run. Slow, unresponsive staff. Rooms were not made until we called the front desk and very dirty on arrival (four someone’s deodorant in it). We would not recommend it.

Beautiful room & location. The lobby bar was fantastic! The pool service was wonderful! Very friendly staff. Awesome walking around town- lots to see and do. We rented a boomerang for a day and that was amazing!! The down side was dealing with lots of construction every day of the week. A wedding took over the resort for two days. The following day they took away all the beach chairs to set up for a beach function so everyone crammed into the pool area.

We were told our room Would have a partial view of ocean but all we saw was roof tops ! Food in restaurant was good but very limited menu! Property very over priced for what was delivered! Loved Key West and will be back but not to Casa Marina !

Their construction is ongoing — don’t be fooled. They previously had concierge svc on the beach- barely around this week. Snooty, rude “Robin” manager guy was dishonest, rude, abrasive and arrogant. He has zero customer service skills. Libby is freezing. Our hallway carpet was never vacuumed - filthy, no body wash all week, $40 for parking. Seriously? Drinks were overpriced and didn’t taste good. Better resort years ago.

The property was closing at week’s end. It was evident that many areas that are usually up to Hilton’s standards fell short……soap containers not filled, fresh towels not delivered until 3 days into the stay, limited food choices and of those breakfast was very expensive [$88. For 2] for eggs, bacon, coffee. The locations and building was spectacular but it masked disappointments usually not found at Hilton properties.
