A Work in Progress?

First view of building is a bright, somewhat charming, building with a view of mariner. After checking in, a drive around the building to park and get to rooms was neither charming, inviting, nor easy. The rear and sides of the building does not equal the front, nothing charming there--a different world. Without that map from the front desk, you might not find the elevator which is nestled under an overhang of the building in a corner area of parking; housekeeping (laundry room) there too on first floor. I'd used the steps long before I found the elevator. There are plenty of ways in and out using the steps and plenty of steps and gates throughout the facility. Be physically fit for this visit. The beach is a 10- or 15-minute walk, but I was advised to use a taxi. Best choices: scooter or bike to get through surrounding area faster, and it's less expensive. Nothing pretty to see along the way.
