Resort has a very nice pool and beach area. Pool bar has great selection of special drinks. Multiple restaurant options on site. Rooms are spacious and bed quality was good. It’s quite pricey is the only downside.

We got supposedly the best unit a 2 bedroom with full kitchen. Really bad maintenance! Everything old, we decided to cook one night and the kitchen was missing almost everything! For $3000 two nights never again

This property was beautiful. The view is fantastic and lots to do onsite. It is also kid friendly. The dining is good but poolside service the week we stayed was excellent.

Nice pool but it gets very crowded. Food service by the pool is terrible and service in rooms is not up to a four star standard. Good facility and nice friendly staff. Needs attention and improvement.

We have stayed at many Opal resorts. On this trip alone this was the third Opal resort and by far the least accommodating. At check- in there was no one to assist with luggage or even tell us where to locate a trolley to put our suitcases on to go to our room. No one at the check-in desk gave us an overview of the resort or told us what was available. No one smiled, said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. Staff was hard to find. Considering the cost of our room this was a very negative experience for us.

Nice in room coffee maker Nespresso. Room was very clean smelled very nice, sheets and bed were comfortable. Nice view. It's alittle older of a building but they have renovated nicely

Right on beach. Refrigerator and bathtub not functioning properly. Pool excellent and beach area small. It may be me, but the room had that musty/moldy that you may find in humid climates. Staff friendly. Adequate parking. breezers restaurant allows dogs but doesn’t open until 4 pm. Given the choices… probably one of the best resorts in the keys.

Overall I thought the property was nice and probably would stay there again. 2-3 minor items stood out and made me feel like "Management was 1 step away from making it a real find. All 3 I found in the restaurant "Gus's grill. But This is only place I had time to sit and observe (waiting patiently for a couple eggs ) 1) the windows were filthy. The looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Sitting inside you really could look out and enjoy the view. This should be on a regular cleaning schedule like every other or every 3 day at most. It would be very easy if done regularly. 2) sitting eating breakfast I noticed the HVAC intake covers had about 1-2 years of dirt caked on them . DISGUSTING and just plain laziness by management. 3) Baseboards and Wainscoting around the pillars in restaurant excessively banged up and in need of repair. Not as a negative as 1st 2 items but noticeably bad. Finally, the breakfast was below average. The hash brown...Come on what a joke. were these bout at a low end convenience store? Overall the place was not bad just fell a little short of getting great marks. Pick up you game management because staff was nice, and my room was clean and up to date. Thanks
