Amazing and very private cottage in the keysPosted Sep 12, 2015
Cons: Check out time at 11am instead of 10am
Location: Kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, swiming, etc.
This place is a jewel, it has around 10 cottages and rooms located quite close to Marathon. It has a private small beach, lots of silence, breakfast included and free kayaks! The cottages are very comfortable, clean, with kitchen and other features. Their staff is the best part, Paty and Betty are so nice and gentle. I really recommend this place, for relaxing, great sleep and for long hours close to the beach.

Quiet getaway in paradisePosted Jul 11, 2015
The Little Conch Key was the perfect honeymoon location for those who want to getaway from large crowds and enjoy a relaxing honeymoon in paradise. The location allows you to go out to nearby restaurants and Watersports but also allows you to chill out to your leisure. The staff was great! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to avoid crowds on their next vacation!

30th anniversary stayPosted Jun 12, 2015 on Hotels
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Single lane drive with no room to pass. Beach was advertised but useless, shallow with lots of sea grass. Outside cottage furniture was "shared" thus sometimes missing at our unit. Appliance issue, but fixed. Continental breakfast was good, kayaks were fun, and very nice swimming pool with partial shade from overhead tarp.

Enjoyed the feeling of this type of settingPosted May 30, 2015
Better than a hotel room, nice small breakfast in morning that I enjoyed overlooking the water. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. I was attending meetings at another location so I didn't get to enjoy the beach and amenities.

Could be Paradise with some TLCPosted May 17, 2015 on Hotels
Chose this place because of good reviews but I think it was over-rated. The check in was easy and Jay was very friendly and helpful however the whole place is in need of some TLC and refurbishment. It has the makings of a paradise hideaway as its very quaint and colourful and has a lot to offer but it seems a little tired at the moment. That said, the area is tranquil and the use of the canoes is a bonus but the water is no good for swimming and the beach is very small, there is a better beach down the road at Sombrero. Also if you have more luggage than an overnight bag don't stay in the smaller rooms like sand dollar. There is no room at all to put anything. No drawers and no room in the tiny bathroom for toiletries. The kitchen is very tired and the cooker is a little rusty. Was overall disappointed as I expected better from the reviews.

Meh.Posted May 14, 2015
The ac window units in our Cats Eye cottage were about 10 years old and not very functional. The room was never cooler than about 78 degrees, although the units made quite a continual racket. The pull out "bed" was stained and quite a low quality. Kitchen has a piece mailed set of appliances. Bathroom had moldy tiles, and a sink with a broken drain. Most of the community outdoor furniture was stained and beat up. The continental breakfast was the same exact food two days in a row. Consisted of stale bagels, day or two old danishes, hard boiled eggs, Yoplait and oatmeal. No juice for kids to drink. It wasnt horrible, as I was expecting 'vintage keys', but their website paints a completely different picture than their reality.

Fun, beachy cottagesPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location and quietness.
Cons: AC in our cottage needed replacing. Buttons did not operate correctly.
Location: Nothing real close, the beauty of the location! 10-15 minutes to the store etc.
Great location with small, private beach, private pool, al fresco breakfast rain or shine. Great spot to relax and enjoy the middle keys.

Sooo sweetPosted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: The beach and rooms are very nice. Can rent paddleboards there and play on the beach and canal as much as you like.
Cons: This didn't bother me, but the resort is located near the road, there is some noise.
Location: Great central location. Sparky's at Key Colony beach is great for happy hour! Definitely rent a boat at one of the marina's!!
Wonderful! Rooms great, beach great, kayaks fun, breakfast standard continental was fine. The pool is really nice here also.
