Was nicely surprised

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: On the water, friendly, quiet.
Cons: n/a
Location: Jig's Bait and Tackle to rent a pole and fish on the property and off the bridge, close to Key West and Key Largo.
Last minute need to book a place for a few days. We were not disappointed. Small town feel in the middle keys. Close to Key West, but far enough away to kick back and relax. Beautiful view. Lots to do on the dock. I rented a fishing pole and caught a few snappers off the dock. Room very well furnished and included plates, cups, microwave, etc. Management very helpful.

Nice Getaway

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Noisy refrigerator, fllor tiles cracked and chipped.
Location: Close to Big pine and Bahia Honda Stater Park. Boondock restaurant is good. Kiki's Sandbar was terrrible.
Nice getaway for the weekend, Little overpriced but also a holiday weekend and Spring break. Even off season rates are high ,But expected for the Keys. On par price wise as some of the hotels in Key West but 35 minutes north. Friendly staff, great location Would stay again

SMALL Room

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Rented one of the queen 'efficiency' rooms and it was much too small for more than one person. My wife and I literally kept tripping over each other. On the positive side the setting is good and breakfast was also good.

First Visit to the Keys

Posted Mar 18, 2017
Pros: Privacy, water views and pool.
Cons: Room could use some upgrades in bathroom and with fixtures
Location: About a 25 min drive to Key West
A quiet pleasant motel on the water. Very well run and organized. Room was somewhat cabin like with necessary features and very nice porch and a great pool. Parking was ample and guests are spread evenly through out the facility so you always have your privacy. A traditional Florida motel and all the better for it!

Central Keys location

Older accommodation but beautifully maintained. Lots of minor but thoughtful extras like pairs of Adirondak chairs along the waterline,

Small room for one night

Posted Feb 19, 2017 on Hotels
We have stayed for one night on the way to Key West. The reception employee was very polite and helpful, air conditioning was good. BUT: The room was very small, really very far away from american standards. No fridge, no microwave, if you want to get some ice - you can get it only during the reception open hours. No table and chairs in the room - no place even to drink a cup of tea. WiFi didn't work. Tiny bathroom. The sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. And the price for this room was $180!
