I have a feeling the new year is going to bring a lot of adventures! Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park. Dry Tortugas is west of Key West and you can only visit by private plans or the Yankee Freedom III ferry. The fort is spectacular & the water is stunning. The place gets its name from the lack of fresh water (Dry) and the abundance of turtles (Tortugas). You have the option to camp overnight on the island. Key West. , Sunset Pier, famous Every sunset is cause for celebration at Mallory Square in Key West, Florida. Yes, this really is just a mile marker sign. just like all of the others you pass on the side of the road, except, mile Marker 0 represents the end of the line. It is the furthest south you can get from the lower 48 continental states, and still be in the USA. It's the end of Highway One, which starts way up in Maine, 2,337 miles away. It's an iconic sign for key west. Mentioned in Hemingway novels, jimmy buffet songs, and is the end of the line for many tourists. Arguably the best place to sit and watch the sunset in Key West--situated right next to the Mallory Square daily sunset celebration as well. #WeekendGetaway Enjoying a beautiful #sunset from Mallory Square #KeyWest #Florida, #USA

Sunset from a boat, on a cool winter evening. Watched the sunset here on a Saturday night. One of the best ones I've seen in Florida. Many shops to see as well. Enjoyed Fort Zachary , very educational and the view is beautiful . It wasn't open when we passed. Cruising the Keys Great food, amazing atmosphere. I can't wait to come back Off the beaten path bar and grill. Sit outside on the marina where manatee are often spotted. Great conch chowder and hogfish tacos. Every morning the wonderful ladies at KW B&B make this delicous fruit display. There is everything from grapefruit, kiwi, watermelon, grapes, and more! Not to mention the delicious baked breakfast goodies they make too. Definitely a great part about staying at this B&B is the wonderful free breakfast! #delicious Cuban Coffee Queen is a local favorite for good reason! This tiny, yet incredible, shop sits on the edge of a parking lot so it is easy to miss if you do not pay attention. They have great coffee, cuban coffee, and food! It is a must visit for anyone who goes to Key West - and I don't even like coffee! Amazing what some water can do for a photo! Key West Magic This is definitely one of my favorite photos from Key West. I wouldn't recommend swimming at this beach though. The water is very murky and bleh. Who knows what is lurking in there waiting to chomp on your ankles! #BeachBound Wanted to see this place for awhile. You can take a tour or just walk around. We chose to walk around. Guess the lunchtime cocktail Beautiful beach down in Key West, Florida. White sand, clear water and not many people is my ideal beach ! #keywest #florida #beach Gorgeous water You know you love summer when sand, the ocean, the palm trees and even the sweltering heat and scorching sun put a smile on your face! The best Key Lime pie in the Keys, hands down. I had a slice with whipped cream and then got a chocolate-covered frozen wedge on a stick for the road. So incredibly delicious, and you can buy the lime juice concentrate and bring it home to make your own pies! Seriously considering bringing some to China with me to impress my new friends haha.
