The Overseas Highway, the southernmost portion of US 1, offers miles and miles of colorful vistas as sea meets sky in a stunning mix of blues and greens and turquoise. This scenic highway is a must see, the only All-American Highway in the state of Florida, and one of only 30 other designated highways in the United States. It's a four hour drive from Miami to Key West, but allow time for stopping along the way. There are just too many scenic moments to miss. A visit to the Keys to celebrate my birthday was perfect. Great food and tons of things to do here guys. Take a boat trip and go snorkeling. See colorful fish, sting rays, sharks and the coral reef. Tip: Take the afternoon trip and end your day with a sunset cruise.
