Extremely poor experience staying at this property as repeat guests. We were told at check in that their systems were down, which was ok because we have experienced this before at other locations, but the front desk never mentioned it being all cash and no communications (texts, emails, etc.). We went to the beach bar to wait for our text to let us know our room was ready, 4 pm rolled around and no text so we went to the front desk and was told our room was ready. We lugged all of our luggage and goods to the room, only to open it to being someone else’s room. The front desk did rectify this immediately but how are you going to no proper systems in place to make sure this doesn’t happen repeatedly? We felt that anyone could have came into our room after experiencing this. Also, the systems were still down on and off so we had to take out more cash than expected, experiencing transaction fees through atms and when we could charge to the room, we never received receipts. At check out, we couldn’t even get an itemized receipts for the total charges, including room charges, but our card was charged for those. I have called multiple times to get this receipt and have yet to receive it for the finalized amount.
