Service is poor. The beach chairs are all broken and really uncomfortable. The front desk people are rude and not accommodating. The room has no view and not worth the money.

Overall, we felt the property was just okay. There was a system outage while we were there, forcing us to pay in cash for any food or drink (which wasn’t told to us until the bill was due). Kind of important when you don’t travel with a lot of cash on you. The room was clean. Just nothing over the top. We also didn’t receive any of the Expedia extras we were promised at registration because of the outage. We tried to go back to the front discuss but the line was long and not worth to the hassle. All in all, the resort was okay. But we didn’t end up spending a lot of time there for several reasons.

Enjoyed our stay. Very nice property. The staff was great and our room was great. Wish water pressure in the shower was better and there a lounge that stayed open in the evenings for adults. Otherwise it was a great choice.

We had a wonderful time despite the system issues they were having. We could not charge anything to our room and had to pay cash for everything like food and drinks poolside. We stayed for a week and had to request water and coffee daily.

Be aware!! Their system has been down for about 6 weeks. What this means: check in took forever, cash only at the bar, restaurants on the property. We stayed for a total of 4 nights, and while the property was beautiful, we were inconvenienced by their system being “down”. A few other things that we noticed; if you’re an early riser, beach chairs or umbrellas will not be set up by the time you get to the beach. Beach access is limited and be aware, it is not a private beach!! You will have people not staying at the hotel setting up right next to you. If you happen to be there on the weekend, prepare to be on a packed beach. Going back to the cash only situation - this was not mentioned during check in. We tried to order drinks at the pool bar and were told cash only. Bartender failed to mention there’s an ATM inside the restaurant, so not knowing, my fiance had to leave the resort to find an ATM outside. Service could definitely have been better and again, staff could’ve tried harder to accommodate guests. Next time we’re in Key West, we’ll be staying at the Hilton next door. Never again…

The location is perfect! We walked everywhere (Southern most point in Continental USA, lighthouse, Ernest Hemingway house, and strolled down Duvall street to Mallory Square). The beach and pool areas are nice, plenty of chairs for everyone. We enjoyed playing ping pong under the covered shelter and lounging in the hammocks. Even laughed each morning, when the roosters started crowing around 5:30 AM. Highly recommended destination!!

Had stayed at Southernmost by the beach three times, before it combined into Southernmost beach resort. I thought we were getting a double queen room on the ocean side of the property, instead we ended up in the parking lot and felt like we were in a cut rate motel. Upgrade was offered via email, but front desk was unable to accommodate at check in. It’s convenient, but I’ll look into a different location for our next stay.

We spent a week at this property. The staff were so kind. The greeting we received at check in was exceptional and so efficient. The property is beautiful and within walking distance of so much to do in Key West. Uber was easy accessible when we did not want to walk. The hotel helped book all of our excursions. The activities provided by the pool kept the kids busy and the staff was so attentive. Food by the pool was so good! We will definitely be back!

For the amount paid for the night the hotel was not up to par. First you have to pay a $64 resort fee abd if that wasn’t enough they charge $50 for parking. Upon arrival systems down so we had to write down credit card info. (which felt unsafe) then we were given the key to our room which was occupied by another family! Besides that -beach restaurant was dirty and overpriced. Will not return or recommend.

Extremely poor experience staying at this property as repeat guests. We were told at check in that their systems were down, which was ok because we have experienced this before at other locations, but the front desk never mentioned it being all cash and no communications (texts, emails, etc.). We went to the beach bar to wait for our text to let us know our room was ready, 4 pm rolled around and no text so we went to the front desk and was told our room was ready. We lugged all of our luggage and goods to the room, only to open it to being someone else’s room. The front desk did rectify this immediately but how are you going to no proper systems in place to make sure this doesn’t happen repeatedly? We felt that anyone could have came into our room after experiencing this. Also, the systems were still down on and off so we had to take out more cash than expected, experiencing transaction fees through atms and when we could charge to the room, we never received receipts. At check out, we couldn’t even get an itemized receipts for the total charges, including room charges, but our card was charged for those. I have called multiple times to get this receipt and have yet to receive it for the finalized amount.
