Historic B and B on the Ocean

Posted Feb 10, 2017
Pros: The staff were excellent.
Location: The Butterfly Conservancy is very close by and is a must see destination-The La Te Da is also near and we had a fun night of entertainment and dancing
We had an excellent stay at the Southernmost House. The setting was beautiful, the breakfast was very good and the staff were tremendous. You can enjoy a sunrise over the ocean, a sunset over the ocean, or both. We had a great time. Wish we were there now.

Amazing location

Posted Feb 8, 2017
Want to feel like a star? This place is it. Luxurious and quiet. It's like we went back a 100 years ago and stayed at the most "in" place! The only thing I'd recommend is having bicycles available for customers and a bit more parking space. I'd return there anytime!

Nice location, but the hotel is looking tired

Posted Feb 6, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Lots - It is tired and seems not well run
Location: Very convenient for downtown Key West, at the end of Duval Street
A beautiful location and lovely old house. However, the house needs some TLC is looking tired and seems to lack staff at times. Some rooms are in another building across the road and those are not nearly so well located. Breakfast was very odd and very poor quality, I even had sour milk which is not acceptable for a hotel at these prices.

Elligant and classic

Posted Feb 3, 2017
The four poster king-sized bed added to the cumfort of the turn-of-the -century bedroom. The second floor porch added to the creature comforts of our stay.

Elegant, historic house right on the ocean

Posted Feb 1, 2017
Pros: The room - the bed was super comfortable with high quality linens, bathroom amenities were great. Continental breakfast was much more than basic
Cons: Can't think of a thing
Location: Right at the end of Duval street, so you can walk to most everything by putting on your comfortable shoes
We were graciously welcomed right from the start - loved our room, the history of the house, the continental breakfast was superb, the pool was the best (we purposely stopped site-seeing every day around noon so that we could return just to recline around the pool, we NEVER do that!). The ocean view from the veranda and bar just couldn't be beat. Everything about this place was wonderful!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southernmost

Posted Jan 24, 2017
This was our first time staying at Southernmost and we were in the Lopez house with a view of the beach and a porch. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable - it didn't feel like your typical hotel room. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool areas. The location is great because there is a lot of foot traffic but very few cars and it is a nice walk to everything close. The staff was very helpful and even emailed us immediately that we left some clothes by accident so we were able to swing by and get them before we left. We will be back again!!

Beautiful location and amazing views. only con was the breakfast hours. We were going snorkeling first thing in the morning so were not able to have breakfast before we left. Has an amazing pool area, fantastic views, and is very comfortable.

Really nice place!

Posted Dec 15, 2016
This hotel was better than we expected, as was our whole trip to Key West. The room was fantastic and the staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the fact that the hotel was connected by a shuttle to the other properties grouped with Southernmost House. That gave us a varied experience that was a pleasant surprise.

Disappointed

Posted Dec 5, 2016
Pros: N/A
Cons: N/A
Location: It is close to the southernmost monument.
We booked Southernmost Hotel from the photo and expected ambience. Instead of a room here, we were put in an annex across the street. We should have been told as we would not have selected the annex and stayed somewhere else.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the Lopez House which is across the street from the Main bldg. however all Guests enjoy the same amenities. All of our rooms are spacious in both buildings & are conveniently located at the end of famous Duval street! On your next visit, please contact us directly and we will be sure that your accommodations will be in the Main bldg. as you would like! We hope to see you back soon!
