Watch out for uncalled recommendations
The receptionist recommended a very expensive restaurant nearby, the food and service is definitely not worth the money($208) for an ordinary dinner! She furthermore recommended a tour of the city for 180 Euros for 3 hours and cash only, fortunately we did not fall for it! We are really unhappy of this encounter!

Beautiful hotel in Ortigia!
Located in the beautiful Ortigia area of Syracusa, this hotel exudes old-world charm. Our junior suite has two balconies that look like they came out of a Romeo-Juliet story. Marcello at front desk was very helpful assisting us with dinner reservations.

One of the best location in Ortigia and Syracusa. We had the best room of the hotel with a huge terrace with working Jacuzzi with ocean view. Breakfast was delicious and everyone at the hotel was very attentive and kind. Hard to complain. Only difficulty is to get there by a car. However, there is a public parking near by (~200m) and turned out to be no issue.

Beautiful hotel. Room with ocean view was very nice. Breakfast was very impressive. Very close to everything including delicious food. We drove, roads are narrow as you would expect but they offer valet parking. Overall amazing experience.

This is a beautiful old hotel that is very clean and comfortable. We had a deli out breakfast which was included. We decided to stay at the restaurant for dinner and it was great.

Good hotel, well priced
We had a wonderful time in Ortigia. The hotel was lovely, although the room a little on the small side. The breakfast was excellent albeit the number of staff serving seemed to be low relative to the number of guests and at reception there were frequent waits due to few staff being on duty. That said, all staff were enormously friendly and helpful but always rushed off their feet it seemed.

Charming boutique hotel near the sea wall. Clean and great breakfast. Helpful staff especially Marcello, who helped immensely when our rental car had to be towed. Would definitely stay here again.

Classic sophisticated hotel in Syracusa
Lovely stay. Staff is wonderful. Marcello helped us with bikes, luggage etc . He goes above and beyond!! 5 stars for him!! Overall lovely hotel , our room was very small but it worked . Breakfast is all you would want and more!

Simply delightful. The original centuries old residence had walls so thick that cell phones dont work. The conversion and modernisation have been handled with skill and authenticity.

On a cherché pour le plus bel boutique hôtel à ortigia et on n’a rien trouvé à part celui là … c’est correct mais rien de spécial , pas de vue et chambre petite. Les gens de la réception étaient gentils et sympathiques. Il ne faut pas déjeuner dans la dernière salle , c’est un vrai four ! Les deux autres salles sont ok … bref, l’hôtel le plus ordinaire de notre séjour de 3 semaines mais pas le moins cher.

Charged me full price for two family suites for a night I didn’t stay, and said that’s their policy. Wouldn’t even consider discounting it even though they probably rented it. (A double dip). Even though I had no way of getting there due to the closing of the airport/airline strike. Otherwise a nice hotel, breakfast and staff.

This hotel reminded me of an Italian Shoreditch House - very beautiful little boutique hotel in an excellent location. They had free water and tea available in the afternoons to help yourself, and our room had free mini bar access with soft drinks and water. I would recommend getting a superior room as you will have a balcony with outdoor seating. Location is perfect!
