nice hotel in Fontvielle 15mns bus tp casino squar

Pros: Pleasant staff
Cons: breakfast chaotic when hotel full
Location: great locayon fpr helicopter 30mns walk to casino square
Refurbishment of 2 floors could be noisy after new year

Nice, clean hotel in Monaco.

Pros: Spacious room location staff
Cons: Price of the parking and breakfast
Location: location is good but hard to reach by car. port is nearby with a nice promenade. The garden in front of the hotel is nice for walking too.
We stayed for only one night in Monaco and we chose this hotel based on all the good reviews. The hotel itself didn't disappoint us at all. We got a free upgrade as an Expedia VIP guest and the bigger room was great, clean and spacious. We had a great view from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is available at an extra charge and breakfast, too was for an extra charge. Both parking and breakfast were a bit pricey, but this is the usual for Monaco. The location is nice on the small port in front of princess Grace memorial garden, but it's hard to reach by car especially if it's the first time to go to Monaco. Overall, i do recommend this hotel and i'll be back again for sure. Just be sure to use a map and a GPS as the GPS alone was really confusing.

Nothing special

The hotel is apparently undergoing renovations and I sincerely hope this will include the rooms we stayed in. It is certainly long overdue! The concierge and porters were friendly, efficient and gave good advice. Reception was slow and not very welcoming. We only stayed one night, we enjoyed our visit to Monaco, but the hotel did not add to or take away from our enjoyment.

Ok but not great

Hotel is undergoing some renovation work which was very loud. The pool is not really an area to sit around as it’s set away from the hotel.

The rooms need new rugs and better lighting, there were not many places to plug in phones computer etc. The staff was very cordial and competent.

Nice quiet hotel

Pros: Very quiet and lovely view is the rose garden.
Cons: Mattresses on bed, extremely hard.
Location: Next to Rose Garden.
Easy hotel to find, away from the traffic and noise.

Great, other than loud construction

Construction was going on at the time of our stay, so it could have been better. They would start construction each morning exactly at 9am, no joke using a jackhammer, so it would have been impossible to sleep in (which to be quite honest, would have been nice after a night out drinking in the casinos...). Now, once construction is over, I would assume a person's stay would be much more enjoyable. But outside of that, everything was nice. The concierge were super helpful (they had good recommendations for dinner and helped us make reservations both nights we were there), our balcony view was absolutely amazing, and the free shuttle came in good use (even though you don't really need it - the bus system in Monaco is pretty thorough and reliable and there are two stops close to the hotel). So overall, very good experience - just make sure they're not undergoing construction while you're there. Also, the wifi was not reliable. I wouldn't count on it.

Tired rooms! Hotel rooms need a refurbish. Carpet threadbare. Hairline crack in sink. Nowhere to store toiletries in bathroom.
