Terrible room. Will not return.

Upon check in, the people at the front desk were nice, but upon entering the room, we quickly realized we could not stay there due to the constant odor in the room. It smelled awful. We gave it a few minutes to see if it would go away. It did not. We asked the young lady at the front desk what it was. She said it wasn't anything she could do about it. We couldn't stay there. I canceled my reservation. Will not return and will not recommend. We were told The Colony took this property over after Best Western let it go. I was surprised upon check in because I stayed there in the past when it was Best Westen and it was never this bad. Obviously the new owners aren't concerned with their guests having a pleasant stay.
