The person at the front desk was very sweet when we checked in, even though it was very late. We saw a different person in the morning, who was clearly stretched really thing but was still very polite.
The room itself wasn't quite great. We noticed right away that all of the art had been removed from the room, and the art hanging strips were just left in place and painted over. We got a whirlpool room, and one of the buttons to control the jets was just broken off and not replaced. It made a whistling sound the whole time we were in the tub. The detergent used on the sheets must have been super industrial because I ended up with a bad case of hives when I woke up in the morning.
Everything was clean, of course, and like I said, the staff was great. It just seems like it might be time for Days Inn to give this hotel a little face lift.
