Staff were wonderful. The room was pretty dirty with a build up of grime on floor boards and head boards. Floor needed to be mopped badly. Other than the floors being so dirty the beds were clean and so was the bathroom (except the floor). The room smelled strongly of fresh paint My wife had to call and make a room change ahead of time but couldn’t understand the staff and unknowingly paid an extra $50. Bringing the room up to around 130$ which was as much as the much nicer hotels in the area. We appreciate our stay but will probably not return unless somewhat desperate.

The place was walking distance to downtown, but a lot’s need to improved in the property, our phone and microwave is not working… the tiles in the bathroom was chip and missing.. our phone charger next to the bed was very loose on both side very disappointed . Beware on Expedia misleading description says ocean view for extra bucks but we don't see any ocean in the property..The only plus is just a free waffle and cereal!!

A place to rest your head.
Well, pictures are deceiving. It was a place to rest our heads. It was a little disappointing. Very very basic, the room next door was housing a family. Early morning noisy. The staff was very nice. From what I heard from locals it was a hot mess a couple of years ago. If I had to give it a star. 1.0. Good location. Close to the skunk train, walking downtown.

What a poo hole this place was! Too many wrongs to list BUT even though every door says no pets, they DO allow pets. Tried to check in and i stood there with no one around for at least 15 min til they drove up. There was a creeper guy smoking on the sidewalk and said theyd be back!?!?! Never again!!

The photos are misleading, resembled the room, but not anything like the room we stayed in. The room was so small, hard to move around with suitcases for 2 occupants, no table for writing/using a laptop or the like. Wires encased in metal pipes all over the room, a breaker box, other wires and cords hanging down from behind the TV. If we had had a child with us, no way we could have stayed in that room, fairly hazardous. A belt from a previous occupant was hanging in the ironing board alcove area.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was DIRTY. The bathroom tile was chipped and they had a piece of some kind of white tape approximately 1’ x 1 1/2’ over some of the broken tile. There was a dental floss placker under the bed up by the headboard. I booked this through Expedia for two nights. I immediately called Expedia to find out if I could cancel the second night. They called the hotel and confirmed I could cancel the second night with no penalties. After Expedia called the hotel workers at the hotel tried to intimidate us by blocking us in our parking slot and putting a maids cart behind my car. When we told them we wanted to leave, they wouldn’t move. They said they would move when they were done. They moved after about five minutes. When I checked my visa statement they had not given me the full credit for the second night. When I called Expedia they said they couldn’t get the manager to call them back so I was on my own. What is the point of using Expedia if they give up. Please do not waste your money on this hotel.

The breakfast was very nice and adequate for a quick bite. Nice to have a warm waffle. Statt was superb. Pretty old and rooms are small and a little funky, but did get a view of the water. Center court yard was nice to sit and think a minute. East access. Rooms were clean. Great for a good sleep and overnight stay.

Not worth the price.
Room was not cleaned at all. Walls in our room are really dirty. Bathroom was also dirty. Rooms was advertised with “ocean view” but all you can is their dirty back yard full of stuff. Glad we were only there for one night. We had the “suite”.

Not a happy camper.
The person that gave me the key was rude and angry, when my wife and I were out walking our dogs she confronted my wife where she was staying and why didn’t she know we had pets. The web site says pets welcome you get to the food big sign says no pets. Next morning our room was infested with ants. When I talked to house cleaners they said oh we know have a great day. Our neighbor had someone break into the room and said house keeping at midnight.

physically poor condition, no remote for tv, no closet, shower had over flowed at some point in time and the flooring in the bathroom bubbled and was a trip hazard. the electric was run in conduit throughout the room. rust spots on the baseboard heater. Overall the place was clean. The bed was comfortable. I did get a good night sleep once the traffic settled down. The ocean view was when you pull down the shade to make the room private there was an ocean photo on the back. I had downstairs room facing highway, so the only "real" ocean you could see was a small triangle maybe 20 miles off shore, upstairs may have had a better view. but I won't be going back to check. oh ya, they charged my card with a 50 dollar deposit, the charge is still pending, but for 240 bucks for one night, it was a massive disappointment.

Let me tell you this place is NOTHING like the pictures. I unlocked the door and immediately knew I could not stay one night here. I was told there was a “ocean view” well the roll down shade on the window was a painting of the ocean so i guess they consider that an ocean view. There was a spot where there was once a fire alarm there is no more, there were pipes coming down from the ceiling, everything and I mean everything was dirty. The windows did not lock my husband was able to shake the window open from the outside because there was no screen on the window. There was some lady who was sweeping the parking lot the same spot repeatedly giving us dirty looks.We called hotels.com they thankfully were able to get us into a new room at another hotel down the street. I thought a Wyndham hotel would be a decent stay, obviously not and never again! The seabird lodge down the street is where we ended up staying you will want to go there not here!!

I ordered a room with a view and paid the extra money for it and ended up on the first floor next to the vending machine and cleaning area where there was constant noise. Never again

This property is in need of major updates. Rusted bathroom fixtures, paneled shower that looks best suited for a roadside truck stop, and the smell of smoke will almost hit you in the face when entering the room. Wouldn’t recommend this.

Where do I start? Why Wyndham would allow their brand to be attached to this hotel is beyond comprehension. That the city of Fort Bragg hasn't shut it down to address major structural issues is really hard to believe. This hotel is under renovations and for good reason. It should not be opened up again and it's completed. I'm sure the owner will offer platitudes to this review saying we are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay but those words mean nothing.
