Quiet hotel in a central location

Posted Feb 14, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is well located near the center of Fort Kochi yet it is very quiet. The rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic, but there are great coffee places around.

Comfortable hotel in a historic location.

Posted Feb 12, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: Friendly staff and close to all amenities.
Cons: The kitchen of the hotel's restaurant and more ambiance around the swimmingpool.
Location: A heritage walking tour with a guide or a riksja driver is a 'must'. And a boattrip on the backwaters.
Fort Kochi has a lot of historic places to visit but it is small and thus after 3 days you've seen it all. The beaches are filthy as is the sea so not a nice spot to stay longer.. The hotel was comfortable but the food in the restaurant (fish and meat) were not high standard or fresh.

Well situated in an interesting tourist area.

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Service and location. Unobtrusive security at the gate.
Location: Chinese fishing nets. Shopping. Museums. Portuguese styled buildings + churches. Museums. Street market. Walks along the seafront views of shipping.
Good food and friendly helpful staff. Wine available. Well maintained pool. Comfortable, spacious air conditioned room with en suite. Close to ferries to Vipeen island and Kochin city centre. Many places of interest within walking distance. Spice market, and other attractions in Mattancherry can be reached by auto-rickshaw in a short time.

Good

Hotel is well-placed, very neat and staff are helpful. However, on the final day we left our bags with the receptionist and came back later in the day to discoer they had been left completely unattended. This aside, it is a very worthwhile place to stay
