Stayed in room #101. Bathroom stunk - noticeable from first entry — not a pet smell but more like burned plastic. We were too tired to change rooms and later regretted that decision. There have been other Expedia reviews about bad smells but not many. The desk attendant and housekeeper both noticed the bad smell. The manager said there was no bad smell. If you get #101, beware. Otherwise the hotel was fine, and staff were friendly.

The property was pleasant and the rooms are nice, and comfy, the night staff and cleaning staff are polite but the general manager cheryl Bossert is unfriendly, judgemental, and just down right shady! My stay was pleasant, the amenities were nice until check out. Before i left my room i cleared the bedding off the bed and the dirty towels and placed them in a pile next to the door to help staff there was nothing dirty about my room proir to me leaving. I paid a $100 vash depoit for the room to be returned to me upon checkout. So as was checking out at the front desk the General manager said she had to check the room before she returned the deposit, So I told her to go ahead and I'll go ahead and eat breakfast. Twenty minutes later, she was still in the room which was already cleane before she got there, So there was not much for her to look at which shouldn't have taken twenty five minutes. She came back down and siad that she wasnt giving me my deposit back because she found a few chunks of a pill she claimed to be fentynal, i told her that i am not a drug user and asked her where sge found it and she told me she foundnit in the trash.. who looks in the trash, and the last time i checked it wasnt a breach of contract for the deposit, due yo the deposit was for damage and if someone smokes.in the room which niether were done. She made accusations that were improper, and a blatent disregard of respect for a paying customer.

Disappointed with the facility. Most importantly it is stated that it is near the University and it is NOT! The pool was small, not deep and the water was incredibly murky. The room heater was broken and the overall facility was run down and not clean. There was a tip jar at the complimentary breakfast, but no service provided… seemed like a shameless money grab. Pay the people enough not to be grabbing for more.

The service was nice but the room had a smell and the furniture is all scuffed up. The couch looked really old. Could use an update. The staff was really nice though. I appreciated it. It was clean too The housekeepers do a good job.

It has snow today so there was a few spot that was not cleared until later where accessible spot was not clear until later. Otherwise all was well. Very satisfied with this hotel and staff. I usually use this is my first choice

Great Family Stay
This hotel was great for our family of 5. The beds were comfy, breakfast was yummy, the service was great and the location was quiet (even on a CSU Homecoming weekend). Would stay here again.

The staff, esp. manager Sheryl and staff member Zach went above and beyond to return 2 light jackets (rain & fleece) and 2 pr of long pants I had packed in case we drove thru the mountains. We encountered car trouble so skipped the mountains, but left the clothes in the room! I especially liked being able to walk in the neighborhood and walk to a couple restaurants nearby. Would have liked to have stayed for a week instead of 3 nights. Thank you.

This property is a bit older, lobby was very hot upon check in. Room was clean but could not get the room cool enough for a hot day. Bathroom was clean but had a burning smell, not sure if it was cleaning products or bug spray. Bathroom sink was slow draining, dead mosquitoes came up from drain- a little disturbing. It was decent enough for sleep and a quick morning shower. Elevator needed an upgrade, very small and slow running.

The spa was filthy, there was a tear in our carpet, the couch was broken you could only sit in the middle, at 11:45 PM the front desk called our room woke our kids because another guest smelt smoke then less then 10 minutes later knocked on our door to verify we were not smoking. The guest above us woke us up at 6 AM from just walking no noise barriers between rooms. No hot water for tea, not enough room for guests in breakfast area. It was honestly a horrible experience not worth the $200 we spent.
