Our hotel room suite housed the four of us business women that came from a nearby event. When we stepped into the hotel room, I sat on a red ottoman tucked under the table holding the TV. The red stool/ottoman, I unfortunately sat on, had an unidentified dried white smear so obvious that I don’t know how the cleaning crew missed it. The shower drain would not stay open and since there were four of us staying in the suite, I had to hold open the drain with my hand (gross) until the tub basin completely emptied out. The lighting in the bathroom was so poor that there's no telling what my makeup looked like when I was done. I think they attempted to address the problem with a magnifying mirror that had a light- but it too was weak. As, I was packing up to leave the hotel room, I noticed that the front right leg of the desk in the living room portion of the suite was at an obviously wrong angle and was left with no choice but to have to stop at the front desk on my way out to report it for fear that I might be charged a damage fee. The front desk staff was kind and courteous as I told them if I wanted a Motel 6 experience with uncleanliness, damaged furniture, bad lighting and clogged drains, I would have just stayed there. We are four business women that did not have the time to waste towards clogged drains, to play guessing games as to how our makeup looked due to horrible lighting, and to doubt the cleanliness of our hotel room due to unsanitary stains/smears on furniture.
