Nice hotel close to the mountains

Pros: It was roomy and well equipped with a friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: It would be nice if the elevators were close to the check-in counter. There was a good amount of noise about 4:00 a.m. coming from a nearby room.
Location: It's in a mall area and there are plenty of places to shop.
This was a fine place to stay. It's in a congested traffic area and is a bit problematic to exit the parking area on to certain streets going the direction you want to go because of the median.

hard bed, bad tv

Pros: The lobby is nice and the front desk girl was very pleasant.
Cons: a soft bed
This hotel is pleasant enough. But, it could use some changes. The bed was very hard. The digital channels on the tv were cutting in and out. So, I just read. There was no water in the vending machine. The bathroom was small and the wall paper was in bad shape. Just not that impressive, but not the worst.

I expected more from the Marriott name.

Pros: The location was convenient for us.
Cons: Technical/housekeeping staff should be available at all times; security guards should walk the floors looking for undesirable people in the hallways.

The service at this hotel was disappointing from the start. The television in our room did not work and there was no one on staff who could repair it. We were offered another room which we took, but the HBO channel was not working properly and broke up every few seconds and reloaded. At 5:00 am we were awoken by a rowdy, out-of-control man who rolled a heavy object down the hall and ran up and down the hallway screaming obscenities and knocking on everyone's doors. Later that morning we told the front desk staff and they said the problem had been taken care of by security; yet that night about midnight a large group of noisy, raucous people congregated in the hallway outside our room, yelling, screaming and throwing heavy objects. A call was made to the front desk for help from security. The next day we left the hotel in the morning for a day of sight-seeing and returned to a room that had not been serviced since we left. A call was made to the front desk staff who said no one was available from housekeeping. We asked them to at least bring clean towels and coffee for the morning which they did. When we checked out we asked for a discount on the price of the stay due to the many issues we encountered during our visit. The manager said she could not do that because we had not booked directly through the hotel. The experience was extremely disappointing. We will not use another Marriott again, or recommend them.

As a hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering a brilliant experience during your travels. Unfortunately, we did not achieve our goal during your stay. I'm sorry to hear that we did not have our T.V.s working properly during your stay. We have reached out to our cable company to fix any issues regarding signal to make sure this is an isolated incident. I will also be speaking to our Loss Prevention department about the rowdy individual that was staying at the hotel; we always want to insure satisfaction during our guest stays. Thank you again and we hope that you will give us the opportunity to regain your confidence and trust in the Fort Collins Marriott.

convenient location, helpful staff

bathroom area a bit small and outdated but serviceable. our stay was comfortable. bed very comfy.

Okay....

Pros: Cookies at check-in and friendly staff.
Cons: A room with 2 double beds as I had requested.
Location: The location is handy to anything in Ft. Collins. Lots of construction nearby from renovating the mall.
I had requested a room with 2 double beds because I was staying with my children as well. Upon check-in, I learned that they only had a room with one king bed, which wasn't ready at check-in time. They provided a roll-away bed that was delivered and left standing on end in my room. My two daughters and I had to lay it down. There was a light out in the vanity and the shower head was leaking from the faucet so there wasn't a lot of water pressure. The staff was nice and friendly but I was disappointed in my stay for the amount of money I spent.
