Awesome location.

Somewhat dated motel, but still very nice. Slightly above average rooms, fantastic location, good restaurants on site. Be sure to see all the boobies in the mermaid tank......its awesome :)

Good beach location

Pros: Good location.
Cons: We stayed for 3 days and housekeeping came in each day, but never vacuumed. There was beads and sequins on the rug that didn't come from us.
Location: Check out the water Taxi it is very interesting. I would suggest you don't get off but ride the all the routes through and then get off at the stops.
This hotel has a good location. On the beach, close to airport and cruise ship ports depending on your needs. There is a Trolley that you can ride all day on various routes that stops in front of the hotel and the water taxi stop is about a 5 minute walk. However we didn't see any restaurant options nearby, which puts you in the situation of always eating at the hotel.

We will be back. Perfect room and location. Felt like a dream in our room it was such a beautiful location with an amazing view.

Pros: What is included, the private beach, the towels, and fruit cup they give.
Cons: I wish the fee for the "private beach" was an option because I didn't even get to go to the beach and was still charged for the beach, towel, and food
Location: Everything was on the other side of the bridge which wasn't bad. However for a person that doesn't have a car, it could be an issue. Taxi's come often
It was great, I just wish the parking garage wasn't so expensive.

Had to switch guest room!

Nov. 25, 2017: The first room assigned to us was inundated with tiny, biting insects. I believe Floridians refer to these bugs as “noseeums.” (Second floor room, adjacent to a small pool.) The bugs entered whenever we opened the door. They were also in the bathroom (toilet & shower). Also the carpet next to the bed appeared to be stained with vomit. Front desk accommodated us with a room change to across the street (no view, but no bugs). Great beach & beach staff!

Not the value I was expecting

Pros: Not much. The food was good. Get the wings they are pretty meaty.
Cons: Room design.
Location: On the beach but I couldn't see it from my room.
What I thought would be an ocean view, was obscured by palm trees. But the worst part was the bathroom. The shower got the entire floor wet! Imagine trying to use the restroom in the middle of the night and getting wet feet! Gross! I tried to clean up the excess water with towels but it was still gross walking on a wet towel. I hope it was just my room that had such a bad view and a poorly designed shower, but I'd suggest you stay someone where else. I was going to complain to management about the room, but there was a long line at the check in desk that morning ad I just didn't think they would care anyway.

Okay hotel on the beach

Pros: Rooms were otherwise nice.
Cons: Thermostat in rooms needs to be replaced with a "cool only" thermostat. If there's no heater, then the Auto type of control is just plain stupid.
Stayed a night over Thanksgiving weekend. The room was freezing (67 degrees) because the outside temp dropped at night, but there's no heating, only cooling in the rooms (I asked, and they said "It's Florida"). The problem is that they also have those new thermostats that just have an Auto setting (no cool/heat controls), which results in an incomplete system. When the outside temperature is below the setting, say 72, then the system turns on the fan and the heater until the temp gets to 72 - except that there's no heater, and the fan stays on continuously, blowing more cold air from the outside into the room indefinitely. The only way to fix it is to turn off the system completely and wait for the room to warm up because of body heat, lights, and the TV. Fort Lauderdale does get cold at night sometimes to like the low 60s, and the hotel should account for all weather conditions, not just the norm. Whoever signed off on installing that particular climate control system didn't take into account the comfort of the guests. If it was to save money on heaters, you're probably spending just as much on the fans/air cond going constantly trying to rectify the temperature with an incomplete system.

Why next to staff only rooms

I thought i was getting ocean front. In the main building..I ended up on the 3rd building. Back in the corner across from 2 staff room only rooms and a mechanical room. There was nose all night.. very disappointed

Overpriced with mediocre customer service

Pros: The rooms were larger sized and wi-fi accessible on the beach nearby.
Cons: The service and organization for check-in and check-out. They could be much more organized with simple things like stanchions for their front desk.
Location: Great beach location, close to shops and restaurants.
Check-in and check-out at the front desk was completely unorganized, it looked as if they had extra staff to help, when really they were just micromanaging. There was no line system so people were helped out of order. The resort fee is not worth it at all! The room was clean and spacious, but we had to take a series of elevators and a sky bridge to get to our room. A positive was there was wi-fi on the benches on the beach near the hotel which was nice. The reason for my poor rating for this hotel was the price for the value received, over-priced even for a reservation off season in November.
