Pictures don't tell the whole story

Posted Dec 16, 2017
Pros: There was a fridge. With a bit more attention this could be a true little gem on the beach, right now it would best be described as a 'no tell motel'.
Cons: Quieter vacuums, better signage, more staff training on service, marketing the hotel amenities better, steam cleaning carpets, better overall cleaning
Location: It's in a great location, halfway between Beach Place and Sunrise Blvd. Easy access to the beach
I read the reviews and looked at the pictures but it was the cheapest room on the beach and figured it was worth the risk. Whoever took the pictures should get an award, if a picture tells a thousand words they would mostly be little white lies in the case of the Sea Club Resort. There is a pool, but due to the building next door it's in the shade most of the day and has just a handful of loungers. The rooms have been 'updated' with gloss paint, like putting nail polish on a pig. It was cleaned with the attentiveness of a trucker motel off the highway. The water pressure was adequate but the water never got 'hot'. The bar closed around midnight and I never checked out the restaurant. It could use a bit more signage for the locations of rooms and other amenities or maybe a map. While the desk staff was polite the rest of the staff basically looked right through you. I'm not saying don't stay here just be prepared, keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

Shell and Doug mini vacation

Posted Dec 12, 2017
Sea Club is ideal for nice little vacation. Is a little hotel across from the beach. Staff very accommodating. Is not a five star hotel but also doesn’t cost a lot. Restaurants on site along with bar. I rented a car although it wasn’t needed. Took the shuttle to bars and restaurants. Hotel has free parking. Pool was warm and clean. Have been here before and will be back.

Run down

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Miss Muffin who works at The Deck was kind and friendly and provided great service.
Cons: The whole place needs a makeover and refurbish. Elevators, stairwells, carpets, walls, bathrooms, furniture beds, patio furniture... EVERYTHING.
Location: The location is great.
Nothing about this place would make me recommend it to someone else. Furniture is old and outdated, bathroom fixtures are painted and chipped, disgusting. Room smelled mouldy. Just a dirty place. Don't stay here.

You get what you pay for. It was close to the beach and the location was convinient. Staff was nice for the most part. The room was filthy, and it smelled terrible. I will never go back.

Totally misleading listing on your site. Presented as super special deal at this beach hotel. No value here and very uncomfortable room, service and staff very disappointing.

The AC was terrible, room was hot. The sink looked like it was going to break off the wall.
