A/C was terrible, all ice machines not working, staff not attentive to my needs for assistance. People smoking weed outside. Smell is stronger at nights

They Don't Seem to Care

Pros: Given the booming music and radio static in the bar, I was surprised to see that they had a live piano player in the lobby, who was quite good.
Cons: See above.
Location: There was an open golf course nearby, though I also saw a closed golf course on my way in.
I chose Inverrary for its location (I was there on business) and rate. The front desk staff seemed friendly enough, but that's about where the hospitality ended. The gift shop lady was helpful but had to leave the store and walk across the lobby to print a credit card receipt. The evening restaurant staff didn't seem interested in changing the radio station (which was too loud and mostly rap punctuated by static), even when I said I'd be a whole lot more interested in ordering something if she could turn the volume down. Since the radio didn't seem to be doing well, I asked the bartender if she could turn up the volume on the big-screen TV so I could watch the football game that was on. She indicated that it would bother the "other customers." Mind you, this was 5-6 p.m., and there were no other customers. I didn't trust the cleanliness behind the bar, so I bought a couple bottled beers and left. The hallways and furnishings were run down. My room featured scratched hardwood floors with gaps between the boards. One light was unplugged, another didn't work. There was no TV remote, which is a shame because the TV was the newest thing in the room. The room also lacked tissues (there was an empty box on the wall where they should have been), a clock/radio, and SOAP in the shower wall dispenser, a fact I didn't discover until I needed it. Fortunately there was shampoo. I don't expect Ritz-Carlton for $60/nt., I do expect an effort to be made.

Old hotel that badly needs updating or a tear down

This was the worst hotel I've been in in something like 15 years. The only hotel I would rate worse was in Mexico. The staff was friendly and nice but they deserve a better hotel. I was only there for a night but that was one night too long.

Worst hotel ever in 30 years traveling the world

This hotel is a scam, Expedia should know better and not even list this hotel. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been in more than 30 years traveling around the world (a road motel for sure is better than this). Checking in took almost 90 minutes (just for the record, only 2 more guests were checking in at the time). At check in I was asked for $250 deposit to "make sure I didn't smoke in the room" (I don't smoke at all by the way). After changing rooms 2 times, because the Air condition in the rooms were not working at all, I gave up as all rooms were in the same condition. There were no towels in the bathroom and no one answered the phone when I called for towels, therefore I had to go to the lobby to ask for the towels. The toilet didn't flush, no need to give more details on this. The room was filthy and even the rug was lifted from the floor in all walls and corners of the room. Conclusion, this hotel should be closed by the Sanity & Health Department and Expedia should no longer have this hotel listed (and I should get my money back).

Disappointing

Pros: It was an overall bad experience.. very difficult go say something positive
Cons: Understanding of the business they are in... they are there go serve the public
Location: Nothing.. it's in the middle of residential area
Stuff at check in, slow, very unfriendly an unprofessional

The only thing I did not like was that the light of the room was not working and it is 25 minutes from the beach.
